Very much looking forward to this. What do you mean 14 minutes is for Horizon 2? They showing other games like they did with the Ratchet SOP?

They didn't say anything about other games just that its 20 minute show with 14 minutes of game play but I figured that just means like 6 minutes will be talking about the game or something. Also its odd Sony is doing a count down pre show before the state of play for 5 hours. Sony has never done like a pre show for a state of play that focuses on 1 game before and 5 hours is a lot of time. So I am wondering if they are going to show some other game in those 5 hours. I mean what could they be showing in a 5 hour long pre show?

I look at that scenery, and am like "Can't wait to see that in RDR 3!" Looks incredible.

But man, once the character model is in that scenery, it's on a way comparatively lower visual level than the landscape she's surrounded by. Maybe it's because the character is intentionally out of focus or something so they can still feature the environment.

Still, I hope the games can start looking like that in a few years.

A lot of the scenery looks photo realistic like cant tell its a game. The character I think in part its because its got like a cartoon style to it.

Sony charging publishers for cross-play being eviscerated on social media again today. Borderland 3 is enabling it for all platforms but they are being required to remove it for Playstation.

Seems like the pre-show is just images. SMH. Oh well. I know on the Sony investor stuff yesterday, they showed PS Now with Horizon 2: Forbidden West in it so im wondering if they put that on PS Now day one. I for one am hoping they do it. But we'll see.

Horizon forbidden west.

Human combat looks greatly improved. The graphics look has good has the reveal last year when people where saying that's not possible. The parachute is awesome. The new grappling hock looks amazing. Wow just wow wish we got a release date though.

After watching the UE5 demo and HFW, I am excited for the rest of this generation. I can't wait until 2023 and beyond once developers get better understanding of these consoles and engines to fully utilize them and deliver amazing experiences.

I still think 2021 and that they may be waiting to do a more big show around e3 and then give us a release date. I fell like if it was 2022 they would have just given a trailer instead of 14 minutes of gameplay.

The gameplay trailer was great but im sticking with February 2022 because they can use an extra 3+ months for polishing and better animations. There was some technical issues like clipping. Missing footprint from Aloy when walking in the sand. No animation whatsoever when she picks up the gun near the end of the trailer.

Between this, Far Cry 6 which leaked and I have seen the gameplay twice and Dying Light 2, it's amazingly Dying Light 2 that looks to be the most polished of the three.

Also, they need to add some more life to Aloy's face. She looks like a mannequin half the time. And just remembered, when she walks through the grass and whatnot, there's no movement from the grass.

It's easily day one for me but im hoping they get the extra time needed because I want the game to be even better.

I didnt watch dying light 2 has its not something I am interested in but I thought this looked pretty polished and even November would be like 5-6 months and I think they might be trying to September but don't to say September and then say November if it gets pushed back. If need be I think it could be September and pushed back to November to give it 2 more months to polish. I say march at latest but I think GOW may be march. I know we have not seen GOW yet but they could easily give us something like that in the next month or so. Also lately when Sony has done state of plays for like 1 game the games have been pretty close.
