Hi guys got a question is there anyway to remove an unwanted scratch from the PS5 Shell casing? Is there a scratch remover that works or is there a way to get a replacement one???

I mean it's just a tiny one but still annoying.. thanks for anyone who can help...

Tomorrow will mark one week of having the PS5 console and yes the graphics are better than the PS4 with less chance if not zero chance of glitchy frame rates. But the thing that has me the most impressed is the controller. Going into it I was not sure if I would like it since it looked bigger than the PS4 controller plus I was so used to the PS4 controller. But those concerns vanished rather quickly. In fact when I pick up the PS4 controller after spending some time playing with the PS5, the PS4 controller seems weird.

This is great to hear. I’m opening up mine this evening. Looking forward to seeing what the haptics are all about. Can’t wait to take it for a spin!

I feel the same way about the controller. I liked the size and feel of the Xbox Elite controller and the layout of the Playstation controllers. The DualSense to me is all of that in one. And then adding in the haptic feedback and triggers and its easily the best controller to ever exist.

So good that I already have two OG controllers and just pre-ordered the all-black controller.

Well here's an update to my previous post about removing scratches from ps5 shell caseing I hope this info will be useful to anyone who gets scratches on the white removing shell casing on there ps5..

Grab a pencil with an erasesr
Grab some clearer like eye glasses spray or windex..
Grab a microfiber cloth or something soft that won't scratch things

Now Grab the pencil & Gently use the earser over the scratches then use the cleaner to wipe down the eraser stuff + the aera where scratches were

Keep doing these steps until the scratches are completely gone & can't be seen any longer..

It took me bout 5 to 6 times eraseing & spraying & wiping down to get it 100% gone..

It might take alot & wear your hand out but it is extremely worth it now my ps5 is back to looking new again!

I feel the same way. I play most of my shooter games with the L1/R1 instead of default L2/R2 and I had gotten used to the DS4. I was afraid it was going to be harder with the PS5 but now that I'm used to it my hands seem to cramp or feel strained less. I like the way some games use the dualsense. I wasn't a fan of the resistive triggers in Madden or Control but the sound and subtle vibration when making a perfect swing in MLBTS 21 is a really nice touch.

I also just figured out (I'm slow) that you can do your own custom button mapping on the PS5 in the control settings.

I've been mostly using my PS5 to play games from 2018 which is kind of sad but good at the same time. I can use the 60FPS mode for The Division 2, load times are shorter, etc. I had just finished Ghost of Tsushima before I got my PS5 so I was able to see the difference immediately from the PS4 Pro to the 5 for that game. I really wouldn't want to go back right now. I was playing some Super Mega Baseball with the kids on their PS4 Pro and I caught myself thinking "wow it's taking forever to load into this game." The menu speed for joining party chats or going to the menu mid game are also a big advantage.

So yeah if anyone has a 4 or Pro there's no big urgency to get one but it's still nice to have.

No this is the original panels that come with the PS5.. I just removed the Scratches with the method I posted above....

I played Uncharted and SOCOM with L1/R1 instead of L2/R2 for some reason, but everything else was L2/R2.

Might skip the live stream and wait until after it finishes because the streams are typically 1080p. I rather wait until they upload it in 4k afterwards to watch it.

But, we are in the window of time where we should be getting a lot of game info over the next few weeks. This is just the start of the rollout. I can see another June Style event from them and add in a couple more State of Play scattered around the summer

Yeah e3 pre stuff is already starting. Nintendo already showed a few thing the last like week or 2 and I think there is also something with monster hunter tommorow and there was like a new back 4 blood trailer today and now this with horizon. I figured Sony would just do 1 big state of play like week before or after e3 so now I don't really know. Horizon zero dawn was my favorite ps4 exclusive so I can't wait to see forbidden west on Thursday. I hope we get a teaser for spiderman 2 this summer. I could just imagine like a 5 second clip of Peter in the black suit and how crazy people would react to that.
