The PS5 version of Enlisted was just released yesterday and I jumped on the F2P game and was pleasantly happy with it and its potential. Although it's free, if you're going to get seriously involved, then you're going to have to pay down the line but it seems less cumbersome than Gaijin's upgrade scale. I'm a big fan of Gaijin's War Thunder's realistic gameplay strategies and physics and much of its game engine is represented here. What's interesting here for single player, you can control a group of AI squad members and control their actions. I'm going to spend some time this weekend and see if its something I'll be continuing. You also get multi-platform engagement with Xbox Series consoles players.

Here's one review for those interested in learning more about Enlisted even though Gaijin sponsored it. You get to see its game play in action and leveling upgrade system better explained.

6 months post release and still can't buy a standalone unit anywhere. I mean one not jacked up to $1000 because it is "bundled" or one that is being sold by internet scalpers. Or one that you have to get at 2am online IF you hit the Buy button at just the right time.

Yeah , I really believed a couple months after release I'd be able to walk into a store a buy a PS5. It's crazy how difficult it is to find one for the actual $399.00 and $499.00 price tags. Now I'm just hoping I can get one before Gran Turismo 7 releases.

That and production capacity I think. Shortage expected into and maybe beyond 2022 and is also impacting a number of other industries.

Sony's also launching the PS5 in China in a few weeks.

For those looking I downloaded an app called HotStock and it notifies me when the consoles are in stock. Yesterday I had a chance to get a PS5 from Target but hesitated because my preference is a Series X. Because of that hesitation I missed out.

Point being that this app has worked well for me so far in at least knowing where and when to look for stock on one of these consoles. I initially wanted to wait until a mid-gen refresh or PS5 slim, but am thinking I may pick up one now instead.

That ratchet and clank state of play sure was something. The planets look a lot bigger and look like there is a lot more going on than before and some of the new weapons look great and some of the features in the game just looks so so good.

The chip shortage is a major issue with all kinds of major companies. For example fords stock went down today because they won’t be making as many trucks this quarter bc lack of chips.

Rift Apart looks amazing and wow, so much more stuff in the game and bigger than I thought it would be. I have watched the State of Play three times. Day one. Hyped!!!


I'm just hoping that if there's any post launch expansions, Sony/Insomniac announces them before release because I would go digital instead of physical.
