Surprised that Harry Potter is holiday 2022 and not summer has I didn't think WB would want 2 games out so close together with Gotham knight being out in October. But maybe Harry will end up being pushed to early 2023.

Maybe they feel the overlap in audience isn't big enough that they will interfere with each other.

Got my 4tb Sabrent SSD & can say I'm very impressed clearly keeps ps5 cool as advertised using there heatsink + reads & write speeds are super fast i love that I'll never run out of space again.. it's worth every penny..

Plus I have a sweet all midnight black setup that looks sweet giving you the ps2 to ps4 all black vibe with the Plates,Controllers & Duelpaluse headset...

My ps5 setup Is finally complete after a year I'll try to post some pics when I get back in town soon.. have a great weekend.

Just another additional news from the update

Sony’s recently-launched PS5 system update has stealth-added a key feature that many have just picked up on, namely Instant Game Response for LG CX TVs and other select models, according to reports on Reddit.

For those out of the loop, Instant Game Response automatically switches your picture setting to ‘game mode’ in an effort to lower input lag whenever your are gaming. This is known as Auto Low Latency Mode, or ALLM for short.

For example, if you are using your PS5 to watch a Blu-ray movie or streaming service, it will switch to cinema mode and then back to game mode without you having to prompt the system, thus giving you the best picture possible.

I'm definitely curious to hear about it. I'm VERY selective on games I buy. Before this generation, I mostly rented via Gamefly most games. But, I would be interested in getting the highest tier if it seems worthwhile. The monthly PS Plus games haven't interested me in well over a year and they haven't added to the PS Plus Collection. But adding in PS Now would definitely interest me

I'm gonna need it to be more than just "classic games," and I'm also gonna need the option to download. PS Now is OK, but most of the games are streaming only, and that is a hard pass for me.

Definitely agree that. Not that many PS1-PS3 era games I'm dying to play again and Definitely want the option to download games. I don't see day and date releases, but adding most past exclusive games and having deals for newer 3rd party releases would be nice.

Anyone expecting this to be competition to game pass is going to be sorely disappointed. We aren’t getting day 1 releases.

Fully agree.

PSNow always felt like it was on the backburner to them. Most felt they should've had a PSNow/PS Plus bundle. They definitely won't have day 1 releases of their exclusives when they feel it can see 10-15+M alone. And I doubt they will get some 3rd party game day 1 as well unless it is multi-player. One thing that seems like a strong possibility is MLB The Show. Since that is going day 1 on Gamepass again, then I could see Sony doing that for their highest tier.

For me, the PS Plus games have been lackluster for a year. I don't play online and didn't have PS Plus prior to this generation. The primary reason I got it was for the PS Plus Collection and it was worth it then. And before recently PSNow didn't interest me. So in theory for me, if it is essentially just combining PS Plus and PSNow with the possibility of downloading, that really doesn't move the needle for me. I'm not interested in Game Trials because I know if I will be interested in a game unless it is a sports game. Plus, I don't like the idea of the game timer starting as soon as you hit download. What would make GamePass worth it for me would be Day 1 releases. If you're not going to have Day 1 releases, you're relying on old games and that only goes so far. So for me, it's quantity of the quality older 3rd party games they will bring in(I expect old 1st party games to be there). But, the main reason I would be interested in this would be as a filler between major games. I'm not a hardcore gamer. I haven't really played a game in 2 months and that might continue for a bit. I'm very selective in buying games. But having this as a filler between games, would interest me. Once my toddler starts going to school this year, I will have time again.

Wonder if they'll toss in Crunchyroll/Funimation in the highest tier.
