I agree + there's a handful of games I would absolutely love to see remastered such as the Force Unleashed 1 & 2 & countless others...

Too many to name but the 1st 2 arkam Games & Arkham Orgins I would love to see remastered as well!!!

I have the same feeling. I'm more looking forward to Gotham Knights than Suicide Squad anyway. But, I'm not surprised about the delay. Actually before DC Fandome, I don't know why I thought it was a 2023-24 release especially since at the initial reveal it was a next gen exclusive.

But, I wouldn't mind seeing them do something with Return to Arkham. Where I'm not really suggesting a remaster of a remaster, but maybe just a next gen patch. Where you see a 60 FPS and loading speed update. It would be awesome to play the Batman combat system in 60 fps. Im more interested Arkham City than AA or AK. I played AA and AK enough, where I'm good on those games. But, Arkham City was my personal favorite and wouldn't mind a full remaster of that one .

Even though i nearly 100%ed Arkham Knight(I dont usually try to 100% a game), the over-usuage of Batmobile pushes me away from that game. But, would love to see a re-remaster of Return to Arkham+Origins

This would be the best time to try to push out remasters. It seems like 2023 will be the year they try to transition into next gen-exclusive games, so this seems like a time to push out remasters

For me when it comes to the arkham games this is how I rank them.

1. AK
2. City
3. Origins
4. Asylum

I just wish that AK got a 4k patch or something game is one of the best looking ps4 games still but would look a good amount better if it was able to simple to 4k.

I thought it was kind of odd to have two Batman titles release in the same year. Of the two though, I am looking more forward to Gotham Knights than Suicide Squad. I'm still not sure what what Sucide Squad is supposed to be.

I never thought it was really that odd to have both in the same year if they where not super close to each other like if one came out early 2022 or middle and the other was late 2022 or something it was more just that with the other games WB has coming out this year I thought something would be pushed to 2023 and I though SS was the most likely to end up being the one pushed. I am looking foward to Suicide squad more. I wasn't really sure what to expect from the game but being its by rocksteady I was really wanting to see more of the game and the first gameplay we got a few months back looked amazing. Gotham knights I am hoping will be good but the fact it looks like the completely got rid of the perfect free flow combat system of the batman arkham games is a big disappointment.

Speaking of Gran Turismo 7, like BigBob says, it will be featured in their State of Play on Wednesday February 2nd at 5pm EST/2pm PST.

It's only January 31st and Sony will have a PlayStation Showcase either in June or September. They could do two of them but all depends on how much they have to show and what third party games they'll be showing.

But we're not even into February yet. No reason to worry about 2023 especially when 2022 is going to be stacked and packed.

Starting Friday, we have Dying Light 2, Horizon Forbidden West, Elden Ring, Sifu and a few others. March has Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, Gran Turismo 7 which I don't believe is being delayed and im pretty sure a few other AA titles like Shadow Warrior 3 are releasing that month. Plus, Dawn of Ragnarok expansion in March for AC Valhalla. And the Cyberpunk 2077 upgrade and first expansion could be around this time as well.

Unless you're only interested in Sony's first party games, you (and everyone else for that matter) should have plenty to play.

So yeah we got GT7 thing on the second maybe we will end up getting a show on the 10th now has the 3rd didn't happen. This year is crazy loaded between exclusives and Multiplatform games heck even switch looks like it should have some pretty solid exclusives this year. Just saying though that a lot of what we know is first half of the year. We dont know to much about like second half of the year. Second half of the year could end up having PSVR 2. I think GOW will end up being out in September like how spiderman was back in 2018. Also got rumors about some kind of last of us multiplayer game or something, and I wonder if we will end up seeing guerrilla games second team game some time this year after Horizon is out. I also wondering if ratchet and clank will get any thing for its 20 year anniversary later this year. I could see live a future game collection of those 3 ratchet games remaster or something. Just a exciting time has this year has a lot and at the same time sony is likely holding back a lot of things for late 2022 and early 2023.

GT 7 was two days ago and Ghostwire Tokyo which is a one year timed console exclusive for PS5 was shown yesterday. Two State of Plays in two days which was focused on individual games that are both in March. While Sony could definitely have a PlayStation Showcase soon, I think June is more likely simply because while most companies, a lot of stuff simply hasn't been finalized to where they will announce release dates and whatnot.

PSVR 2 definitely looks like it's releasing this coming Fall 2022. If it does, I can't imagine Sony releasing God of War Ragnarok around the same time because few people are going to buy PSVR 2 when you have GOWR which won't require PSVR 2 sitting right there.

I'm going with Sony having a bunch of Indies/AA/AAA timed/full console exclusives along with PSVR 2 and TLOUP2 Factions for the Fall. Besides, PS4/PS5 will be getting COD MW 2 in November so does Sony really need anything? Not really.

I think their PlayStation Showcase whenever they have it will show us what 2023 has in store. I do believe that GOWR gets delayed to Spring 2023 and Spider Man 2 gets released in early September 2023 copying 2018. Sony has those two first party exclusives in 2023, they don't need anything else in my opinion.

For Ratchet & Clank, im hoping for a Rivet spin off game similar to Miles Morales. I don't want a remastered collection of the old games because unless they're completely remade like Ratchet 2016, I prefer the Rivet spin off game which in my mind seems like a slam dunk to happen.

Of course, it all remains to be seen. Either way, this generation is shaping up to arguably be the best of all time and we're only 15 months in.

Hopefully PSVR2 will be bc with 1 games if not that would suck. From what I have heard a lot of VR games are still more like tech demos really short and with VR being like several hundred dollars it's a hard sale. If it can't play VR1 games it would be even more of a harder sale and I downloaded a few of the free VR games several months ago just in case I get a vr2.

Think VR 2 may get a release date and price soon has the website was like updated or something today.

Also, if you’re looking for accessories (covers, controllers, etc), I’ve found PlayStation Direct is the best spot. I went to GS to get black controllers yesterday, and they weren’t in stock. PS Direct had them and I got them overnighted for free with expedited shipping thanks to having PS Plus.

Agreed. That's why I bought those black cover plates back in June that someone here recommended. PS5 looks so much better being solid black and looks smaller.
