That Apple was around when I was in 5th grade (15-16 years ago) and email/internet wasn't mainstream. Certainly possible, but seems unlikely to me.

That APPle computer was circa 1984-1987 I believe, making it even more unlikely.

Didnt they say it had a new motherboard? The case may be old but the parts inside could be newer. (ie. my computer )

True. The OS appeared to be whatever ran on those Apple IIE's though. I still can't believe I used to use one of those.

In any case, the problem IMO is the communication part. You'd think that Sayeed (sp?) would've noticed a modem or something that was communicating outside of that box.

That's pretty crazy...show's the crash might've been pre-determined.

Anyone want to, cause I'm lazy, check the psychic Claire went to, with people in the observation video or see if there are any connections? He def. wanted a woman with a baby to go to the island.

It seems like the psychic knew the crash was going to happen:
First he told Claire that she had to raise the baby
Then she bailed on her adoption
Then he told her he set up another adoption but she had to be on a certain flight (the one that crashed)
So it seems that the psychic knew they would crash and she would have to raise the baby on her own

If I'm not mistaken the psychic says something about you can't let another raise your baby. which could be interpreted as "an other"

New episode tonight and then LOST goes on a 2 week hiatus (playing only re-runs). That'll give me enough time to catchup on Season 1.

I thought they did this last year. Granted I didn't watch LOST then, but one of my friends said they went on a long hiatus and he never got back into the show.

They went on hiatus' every other week it felt like last year.

Yeah they did this a lot last year. They would show a new episode and then like a month's worth of re-runs, then a new one again. Very frustrating.
