My firend and I were discussing the hot air balloon. We both think it is Desmond's. Didn't he say he was doing a race around the world?Comment

Also, when Ethan and Zeke (I assume that was Zeke without the beard) were talking in the hallway and Zeke said "He isn't going to be happy...", who do you guys think he was referring to?
I'm going out on a limb and guessing it might be Henry Gale.Comment

Re: "Lost" Season 2 discussion thread (Spoilers for the West Coast)...
I just got a chance to watch the last episode. I am convinced that there wasn't a plane crash. These people all just think they were on a plane. This way they don't question why they were all put together on this island. Its clear that the experimenters want to see how they will react to "others" being a group of unknown castaways or threatening tribe.
We know it was a fake beard, but did anyone notice that the beard adhesive said "Darma theatrical glue"?
One of the things I'm questioning though is that Ethan had some type of Super Human strength in the episodes leading up to his death. It would appear that the "others" don't have the special powers we all once thought, if infact they are scientist walking around in tattered costumes.
Ecko made a point of telling the "other" prisoner that he killed 2 others. Meaning he knew they were people who could be killed just like anyone else. Eck sees through their mystique and wants them to know it.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment

There is also something else going on with that Ethan character. I can't place my finger on it, but he seemed to look different when he invaded the camp than when he was shown as being a doctor like his hair.
Also, the thing about the French chick kind of intrigues me too. Her kid Alex was kidnapped 16 years ago? Does it make sense that this research project would be going on for 16 years? Although the Apple computer in the hatch would coincide with that, but geez, it seems like they would have dealt with the French chick already. And if the project has been going on for 16 years, there is definitely some way that the island is being resupplied with that Dharma food, theatrical glue, etc. When they found the stash of food in the hatch, Hurley said when he gave it away that it was only enough food for 1 person to live 40 days on so they all ate it one night. Except for the industrial jar of Ranch dressing hurley stashed of course.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment

About time too
I've been watching Season 2 again the last few days and some things are really starting to annoy me about this show.
When the guys are on the raft they are all out of character. Quite noticeably too.
Sawyer killing that frog seemed out of character for him of late.
And most noticeably, Locke falling for the oldest trick in the book when Henry tries to turn him against Jack, is out of character. We've seen Locke been made to be much more intelligent than this.
It's like the writers are losing the plot or different writers are not up to date with all background info.
And another two niggling things...
When Kate saw the horse, you could see a hand directing the horse off screen
And the whole 'theatrical glue' thing annoys me. I wanted Zeke to be... I don't know actually... but not some make-up/disguise wearing DoctorComment

Finally....although I forget what happened, lol
This is why this show will never be as good as 24 or the Shield. Those two shows run straight...no breaks, no nothing. LOST takes too many breaks to be one of the top-tier shows, IMO.Comment

Nothing still touches The Shield to me. But that's not here or there.Comment

Originally posted by ExtremeGamerAgreed. I love this show, but it does what 24 did in the beginning and that's take breaks all the time. 24 did this and it hurt the flow of the show.

Really, if LOST didn't take breaks, or at least not a break like every other week, this show would certainly be up there near the top of shows on TV....but really, the breaks have gotten me to the point I'd almost rather do something else tonight.Comment
