Another theory that I have thought of and someone brought it up earlier is that there have been more than one plane crash, and the "The Others" collect all of the good people while capturing the bad and killing them.

I just read through the last 10 pages (I think that is where the discussion started on last nights episodes), and I haven't seen any mention of this....which leads me to believe a lot of people didn't see it.

After the credits rolled, a screen came up that said something like the following (I may not be exact) "Stay tuned for your local news to follow shortly". Then the ABC logo popped up on the bottom right hand corner (like it does for all the primetime shows) as it showed a sunny beach. 5 seconds later the back half of a plane fell from the sky and landed in the ocean near the shore, followed by the screen going to black. I don't think they were re-showing the original crash, I think that was another plane crashing due to the most recent system failure. Did anyone else see this? Did anyone else make note of this on one of the other "Lost" boards?

Great episode IMO last night, and there was definitely a whole new can of worms opened up for next year!

I thought the one guy in the snow that called her said "I think we found him" (or that was the subtitle). I'd need to see it again though.

Even so, why is she monitoring electromagnetic anomalies or even searching for an island? I guess that's what I'm kind of confused over. Did I miss a part where she knew her father was part of the Dharma Initiative (assuming he was. I'm not sure that was ever stated??).

Ugh....It's all becoming fuzzier.

I tivoed it and he said "we found it". They were looking for the island. Before that they mentioned that the last time "they missed it." I think they meant that when Desmond didnt press the button 65 days ago, the same electromagnetic alert came up but they missed that.

As for the other stuff....you arent supposed to know that until next season. Thats when we find out why she was looking for the island, her father's role etc.

Hmm, I didn't stay for after the credits, so I didn't see it. But very interesting. Although I have to say that if ANOTHER plane breaks up into 2 pieces mid-air and MORE people survive, I'm gonna stop watching this show.

Just looked at some of the job descriptions and saw that some letters were faded in some job descriptions. The letters were "n s t l u m I e m A y a".

If you scramble them it says "Insane Asylum".

If the electromatic field was strong enough to bring a plane down 30,000 feet in the air, how come it wasn't strong enough at the end of the show to rip the guns out of the others' hands?

I didn't see that, I cut it off after "Bad Robot." I just checked on ABC's site and the online show stops at that point too. I still have it on my DVR, I'll check it tonight. Thanks!

I just checked online as well, and it wasn't there...I swear to you that I have it on my DVR though, I was sitting there ready to watch the local news and when the plane fell from the sky I rewound it and watched it again...I checked a couple of lost forums, but I really don't look at them much, so I don't know the best place to look for this.

I can't imagine this is something that only showed in the Philadelphia market however.

I don't doubt that another plane fell...

on the previews(after last week) they showed a plane crashing on the Island...yet, they never showed that clip during the show, so that clip(after the credits) may be it.

I didn't consider that an EMP, otherwise all the electrical stuff on the island would be dead (computers, washing machines, etc). I thought it was just a big magnetic pull like we saw at the end.
