    Re: HELP

Do you guys with HD RPTVs have blurs on the edges on the models in your games?

for example with ESPN FOOTBALL do the edges around the players appear very blurry? I have a panasonic widescreen 53" hooked up with monster component cables and i have the widescreen option along with 480p and 1080i enabled on the xbox.

IT seems the graphics were clearer on my NON-HD 32 inch TV. is this normal or are they things i can do to get a crisper picture?

    Thanks

            Re: HELP

Tiger hows the tv picture looking, besides videogames. Is it just ESPN your having a problem with??? FYI I tried the 300x and 400x monster cables on my old tv which supports component and svideo and the picture looked alot worse than with regular wires. For some reason monster cables dont work well with xbox, i suggest getting the HD kit

720p is by far the superior picture. that is basically native HD-tv. 1080i is interlaced thus the picture is not as clear. remember, p = progressive giving a much smoother picture

Hmmm, according the avsforum it depends on what you're watching. I wouldn't say that one is superior to the other.

8bit, the TV/DVD and HD signals all look great, just the xbox with component cables going in.
You really think the Microsoft HD pack is better than the monster component cable?

i see the problem in all games, but its especially bad in espn bball and football..Moto GP looked quite good, but still, something seems wrong.

by the way, i disabled all options but widescreen and 480p in the dash of the xbox

its so jaggies are so bad that i cant really read the name of the jaggies on the back of the jersies in espn football. It looks ok during the cutscenes though as there are less jaggies
