                  Hey 8bit,

Its coming along ok, but im not so certain the HD pack is the problem, I went in to best buy and described the scenario to them.

And everyone I spoke to said the monster component cables are better or at least equal to the microsoft HD pack in quality.

The question i have for you is this:

Did you use both a Microsoft HD Pack, and Monster Component cables on the same High Def TV and notice a difference? from what you described, it sounds like you used the monster component cables on a non-HD tv, so it wasnt an apples to apples comparison.

Id be willing to go buy the Microsoft HD pack if i was sure the models would look better, but i just dont wanna get the cables and see the same picture so i want to be really sure.

Asides, from that, the TV's real nice, I've been watching stuff on TV i'd never typically watch, but its on HD!!, such nice programs like:

                  Designing America,
                  Hollywood HD,
                  Churchill Downs,
I even watched golf and hockey lol

BTW, did you get the TV u ordered yet? how is it

Hey man whatsup. My tv does not ship until this saturday, I could of gotten it earlier but I wanted to be home when it came. Your right though, when I used the monster 400x components it was on a non HD tv that supported component cables, and I experienced exactly what you did, everything was good and colors were more vivid, except for the severe increase in jaggies. I bought the microsoft HD pack and still have the monster cables, and when my tv gets here the first thing I will do is see how both run. I was thinking though man, Ive read RPTV's are like cars in the sense that you have to break them in. Ive heard reports from people that within the first month of use, the picture increases dramatically, hopefully this is the case for you. Since our tv's are pretty much identical. could you describe your gaming problem again for me? I got this tv with the idea of HD gaming as my number one priority and it would suck if it didnt live up to its hype. Is it just extra jaggies your experiencing or is the picture not as sharp as it was on your non HD tv?
Thanks for the update man im glad to see your enjoying your tv for the most part.
