Thanks for the advice.I went to the samsung website to check out the samsung model you put down but wasnt able to find that model there.Any suggestions on where I can find that particular model? Also went to my local best buy and saw 2 tvs around the 1300 price range that caught my eye....
http://www.tacp.toshiba.com/televisi...sp?model=42H83 (Toshiba 42 inch) and http://www.circuitcity.com/detail.jsp?c=...d=58406&m=0 (RCA 52 inch). They where both showing the same broadcast side by side and the toshiba picture was alot crisper than the rca.Toshiba screen looked like a flat screen type picture, was really impressed with it.Any comments on these 2 particular models...the good and the bad? thanks ahead of time

I didn't even look at the links, and I can tell you the Toshiba is better than the RCA. RCA is not a brand I tink I would ever purchase for anything.

well ESPN HD is in 720p instead of 1080i. Will it still work on 1080i?? Is there a big difference??

ABC is in 720p as well. But your tv should up convert, or the cable/Dish box you have will upconvert the signal to 1080i. If your TV doesn't upconvert, then the only thing you'd miss would be 720p XBox games.

well I'm going to have a 61 inch RCA DLP that doesn't accept 720p signals. Will it convert down to 480 or 1080i?? Are XBox games at 720p that big of a difference from a regular CRT tv?? I've been playing PS2 on a 19 inch tv and my parents are getting a 61 inch tv which should make it so huge!!
