This Senses Fail album may be one of the better albums I've listened to in awhile.
Good lyrics, good music, not as much senseless screaming as their first two albums...just an all-around good CD.Comment

Two things came in the mail today. First, I recieved Dusty Springfield's Dusty in Memphis (Deluxe Edition) from YourMusic.com. I also recieved 7 CDs of Prince live bootlegs, including a jam session with Mile Davis.

Really liking the two Amos Lee albums I recently obtained. "Amos Lee" and "Supply and Demand" which just came out a week or two ago. Highly recommend. Very laid back music, got a blues-y type of feel. Somewhat similar to Mayer I guess.PS4: aBayBates

The new My Chemical Romance is great so far, I'm about 5 tracks deep.

Wow, I didnt realize this had dropped yet, I'll have to pick it up. I've heard the first single, and thought is was heads and shoulders above anything on Three Cheers. Should be a good listen.
The last two discs i've picked up were the latest Breaking Benjamin and Senses Fail CD's and I can honestly say they are better than any of their past stuff, and I though that stuff was great. BB stayed in my car CD player for two solid weeks, it was that good.
I was a little apprehensive about the SF disc because I heard they were toying with their style, which worried me because I really like their style. The CD is mostly about singer Buddy Nielsens dealing with the mental breakdown he had a little over a year ago and the ensuing therapy and such. It also touches on his religious feelings a bit. Very honest lyrics, not too emotive, but definetly from the heart about a very tough situation.Comment

Didn't think I would like it, but I love the new My Chem Romance album. Very good. Never heard anything off the first one other than 'Helena,' I'll have to search for it tonight.

On Monday, I picked up Neko Case's Blacklisted. Amazing album. Beautiful vocals.
Yesterday during lunch I picked up The Cramps' Songs Our Lord Taught Us. Its pretty good. I recommend it to those that like the Eagles of Death Metal and the psychobilly genre.

Picked up the Wolfmother album. I like it a lot. I think someone else on the board was recommending it as well. I would call it a mix of Led Zeppelin influenced vocals with heavy guitars. Good shtuf.Comment

I've heard a couple Wolfmother tracks. I can't get into them. They're similar to Jet for me, where they sound like a handful of other bands, but don't really add anything themselves.
