Maybe by the end of 2006. Supposedly the band doesn't like waiting 2-3 years to release a new album. I think they're either been recording or are going into the studio soon to record. 'Slave had 21 songs written for the album by the end of 2005.

Also, on a side note, Audioslave has a new producer. His name has slipped my mind, but he has worked with both RATM and Soundgarden. Hopefully the third album will be comparable to a RATM and/or Soundgarden album.

That would be the infamous Brendan O'Brien.

Main producer for Issues, co-produced Untouchables and I think he produced a song off of Take a Look in the Mirror. Oddly enough, I'm really diggin the new korn ablum that was produced by The Matrix....sounds very industrial rooted, prolly what they were going for in the late 90's but O' Brian ****ed it up.

Ya, I really stopped listening when "Issues" came out, maybe even a little before.

How did he ruin their career when he had a part in four albums that at least went platinum?

                            No one likes them anymore.

And they lost a huge fan base.

So the producer is the sole person to blame in this? I think the production had less to do with it, and Jonathan Davis inability to write a song on par with the first two albums a lot more. Or the death of the genre they had thrived in?

I was just comenting on the "part in four albums that went platinum", and that despite the CD sales, the fanbase has still dropped. I didn't directly say it was the producers fault..
