Re: Music You're Looking Forward To In 2006
Bump. For all the Jack White/White Stripes, Brendan Benson, and Greenhorne fans, I have a little bit of news concerning the Raconteurs.
The Raconteurs have put up a myspace page(The Raconteurs @ Myspace). The band also has an official site, but no artist page as of yet (xlrecordings.com).
Now, for the good stuff. Although their debut album isn't set to release until May, the band is releasing a very limited 7" at the beginning of February. I'm sure the songs will "pop up" on the net the same day the 7" is released. Can't wait!Last edited by Fresh Tendrils; 01-21-2006, 11:40 PM.

EAGLES OF DEATH METAL
The Eagles of Death Metal, featuring Queens of the Stone Age front man and Palm Desert native Josh Homme, completed work on itslatest album. Dubbed "Death By Sexy," the set is due in stores on April 11. A video for the first single "I Want You So Hard (Boys Bad News)" has already been shot and features actor Jack Black and Foo Fighters leader Dave Grohl.
Hell yes.

Murs and 9th Wonder - Murray's Revenge
Dangerdoom 2 - Learning to Swim
Ghostface - Fish Scales
Nas and DJ Premier - TBD
Aceyalone and RJD2 - Magnificent City
There are a bunch more, but those are the ones that immediately come to mind. Should be a good year for hip hop, and we're starting to get back to the early days where a hot joint would be released at least every month.-Jay Illestrate, Emcee/Producer/Graphic Artist

Re: Music You're Looking Forward To In 2006
Originally posted by APOCSo what time of year will these Muse, Killers, and Radiohead albums launch for those who actually know?
They've been in the studio for a while though, hopefully they pick up the pace and get something out before a US tour, don't count on it though, they never seem to be in a hurry in the studio.Comment
