Re: Hostel
He produced it, sort of. He is friends with Eli, and is a big fan of his work, so to help give the movie cred, he gave it "Quinten Tarantino Presents"Originally posted by dagger55 -

Re: Hostel
Yeah, I read an interview in "Shivers" magazine. Eli is my fav new director, so very excited for this movie. Glad QT helped it with the cred, like you said, many will think he did it and will get people to see it because of that.Originally posted by dagger55lol, well the marketing ploy worked, because i thought he directed it

Would if you could pay 10K to take someone to a uninhabited place to torture them, would you do it? If so, who would you torture?http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group)Comment

Re: Hostel
Quentin didn't really do anything to make the film he's jus putting his name on it to get it some cred like he did with "Hero." His name is so popular now that people will watch it with any hint of his name. He likes watching films and if it needs help getting the light he'll put money into it to have it come out.
As far as this movie goes, i might pass...i'm not a big fan of gore. i like horror but if i hear jamming rusted screws under nails or clipping toes off then adding hot sauce to em doesn't sound like a good time to me. I did like Devils Rejects though, so if its anything like that then i'll give it a tryComment

Re: Hostel
As good as Devil's Rejects was, I have a feeling Hostel will be nothing, NOTHING like it. See Cabin Fever, that'll give you the vibe you'll get from an Eli Roth movie. If you like it, you'll probably like Hostel. The DVD for Cabin Fever is amazing, the kid version of the movie, the chick flick version of the movie...great stuff.Originally posted by RockinDaMikeQuentin didn't really do anything to make the film he's jus putting his name on it to get it some cred like he did with "Hero."
