Originally posted by PsyblastI know I've said several times there's no way to rank the seasons of 24, since they're all good...but to me, especially after last year, this season just didn't do it...it had its moments, sure, but IMO it was definitely a step down.
For me, it's very difficult to rank the seasons. I've liked them all.Comment

Re: ***OFFICIAL 24: Day 5 Thread - SPOILERS for West Coast***
Am I the only one that thought the ending was really good?It did stuff that 24 has had problems with (always killing off extra's and baddies are saved, henderson and bierko got killed...extra survived fine) and had a big twist, I had no idea something happened until with the attorney general and another twist when it was on the presidents pen rather than Martha.
Of course I did have a feeling something was up when they said kim was on the line and knew it when he got in the building, but has any 24 season ended up good?
Anyways I loved it and hated it. (loved it because it was well written, hated it because I have to wait 8 months)
EDIT: IMO I think they should have the season open up with a 2 hour start and then on 1 hour every week except the ending and a middle episode with 2 hours...OR I wouldn't mind just one hour every week period. (smaller wait, by over a month)Comment

Re: ***OFFICIAL 24: Day 5 Thread - SPOILERS for West Coast***
It was a good ending but anyone who's really been following the last couple years knew generally how the end would be. The chinese needed to be in the season somewhere, it had to happen eventually so the ending wasn't as big as a surprise.
Hopefully the next season in China changes things up a little bit. 24's still a great show but after 5 seasons they've beaten a lot of the same subjects to death. If next season is in China it can provide a nice boost and we can get new storylines.
Anyways it was another great season, now the hardest part is the wait.Comment

Re: ***OFFICIAL 24: Day 5 Thread - SPOILERS for West Coast***
I'll buy this season on TV, just to complete my collection...I've only watched a few scenes more than once...and will watch a bunch in December to get prepared.
I thought the ending, and the episode, was very good. The episode itself seemed more emotionally gripping as a whole than previous years. I was at a friend's house with all the guys that are in my fantasy baseball league and I know we were all dead silent after Jack didn't shoot the president and got arrested...was just like "wow"
And next season looks like it could be good as well, but every season has been good.Comment

What will happen to Jack?
I thought it was interesting when he said that they should just kill him. He knows he's going to be tortured like crazy if he doesn't give important intel about the U.S.Comment

IMHO, this was a great season. And that was one of the best finales in 24's history.
I knew Jack was going to be assaulted when he went in to take that call, I just didn't know the Chinese would be behind it.
I hope Jack's back as the main character next season, and that next season will be as good as this season was.Comment

I believe that you can rent them from NetFlix if you subscribe. This was the first season I have watched of 24. Let's just say that I didn't miss an episode and should probably watch season 4 now.Comment
