I read an interview with Forrest Whitaker about The Shield. He said it's been one of his favorite roles of his career. He was a big fan of the show and was overjoyed when they called and wanted him. Shawn Ryan, the producer, said he wanted Forrest to be in the show and basically wrote the character for him.

Shawn Ryan is currently writing the Max Payne movie, should be good with him at the helm, based on The Shield.

Anything is better than when he was Ghostdog.

I was like "how the hell you gonna get out of this, Vic?"

and then BAM!

Holy hell that was awesome. Did exactly what laywer-lady told him to do, as well. Get IED to have a bad rep.

And Holy ****....Forest's Character just SNAPPED.

I got a feeling by the end of this season someone on the strike team will end up getting in a lot of trouble. if you think about it, they always have gooten out of bad stuff. I'm thinking the law of averages wil catch up to Vic.

Ronnie found the bug in the clubhouse. So they faked the whole meeting for IAD to hear. Told the captain their plan on how to get in tight with the Russian to get the rest of the drugs, knowing IAD was going to bust them that night. The shooting only iced it as it forced IAD to run in.

It's hard to even root for someone, because in reality Cavanaugh is the good guy but he is played like the bad guy. Great character development.

This season might be their best yet, it's sure going out on a bang.

But doesn't this season not end until next season...I thought they were splitting this one in two?

Great season so far. Chiklis and Whittaker are two of the best actors, in these current roles, I've ever seen. They both mesh so well together it's amazing.

SO we got awhile to see if this season goes out with a bang.

This is the first season I've watched...I'm gonna have to pick up the first few on dvd.
