Like somebody said above LORD OF WAR was a GREAT movie. Nicolas Cage is great in the movie. Great story and direction.

Also I just saw Red Eye for the first time and thought it was great too. I might be a little biased but Rachel McAdams is one of my favorite female actors. I'm also starting to really like Cillian Murphy, he's a great actor.

First of all, I really don't get into fighting/karate movies. But, I went to see Unleashed because I liked the trailer. Well, was I in for a surprise.

Unleashed was probably the third best movie I saw last year (Batman and Star Wars beat it out). And not to get too movie critic on you.....Unleashed was Unbelievable!!!

Also, in the realm of fighting/karate movies, I loved Kung Fu Hustle.

It isn't out on DVD yet, but I LOVE "Everything Is Illuminated". It's a Warner Bros Independent film w/ Elijah Wood (see my avatar). I usually never rave about movies, but it was my favorite movie I saw last year. It's got a great mix of comedy and drama. It's a fantastic movie.

Equilibrium, thats a good one that I know was already mentioned. Everybody who loved that one, look out for Ultraviolet starring Milla Jovovich made by the same filmmaker, coming into theaters the end of this month. It looks like a good one of the same ilk to me. It kind of looks like what Aeon Flux should have been.

If you like mind-benders, Usual Suspects and Memento, of course.

                Hero, fantastic.

Office Space, Team America: World Police, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Princess Bride, Amazon Women on the Moon (must-see sketch comedy), these are some good comedies.

Tombstone, Ed Wood, and Aviator have to be thrown in there too.

Totally agree with the people who said Equlibrium great movie that really came in under the radar.

Also count me in for Best in Show and Bottlerocket. Both excellent movies.

                              and then...

Anthony: You told, you told your friend Bernice I'm some kind of jet pilot?
Grace: What was I supposed to say, they stuck you in an insane asylum?
Anthony: It wasn't an insane asylum, Grace. I explained to you back then that it was for exhaustion.
                              Grace: Exhaustion?
                              Anthony: Yes, exhaustion.
Grace: You haven't worked a day in your life. How could you be exhausted?
