I doubt it's all a dream. Baltar is just a piece of excrement. Selling out his whole race for a few measly romps in the sack with a blonde Cylon. Way to go, guy! I hope to God(s) that he gets his comeuppance in later seasons.

Dammit. I can't believe we have to wait till October now. Also, the rumor going around is NBC wants to move it to the Network and that is why the show is not coming back in June.

As long as there is a safeguard in case it doesn't do well ratings-wise on network tv to put it back on Sci-Fi, I don't have an issue with that. I can't imagine what it would be like with it on network tv though. It would seem really weird.

If mainstream audiences gave it a chance....they'd be hooked. It's the best show on television..period.

            I really believe it's all a dream.

I just don't believe that the producers would "fast forward" an entire year..with everyone looking so sickly and ragged.

I'll bet Season 3 starts with Baltar waking up..realizing he is NOT the one to lead the colonies, and resigns the presidency.

            But hey..I could be wrong.

I don't think it's a dream. Even if Baltar were to rescind everything he has set into motion, too many people would still want to settle on the planet. Now, it's obvious that the planet is bad idea and they can continue their search for Earth. Also, they would have to come up with a different reason for Six detonating the bomb.

The show is pretty unpredictable so I wouldn't be surprised if it went either way.

                Here's the thing...

If it IS real...you now have a fleet that doesn't have enough active personnel to defend itself, a colony that has been taken over by the Cylon forces and has no way of defending itself...

It's the worst possible nightmare for humanity. The only saving grace is if Sharon and Number Six have truly become "more human" and decided to end the war.

                Can't. Wait. Til. October.

I'm personally hoping that it's a dream myself. I'm not ready for the fleet to "go out like that".

Baltar was always stupid. The Six that was in his head was always the one guiding him. When Six detonated the bomb, Baltar was probably devastated and the Six in his head probably went with her. Without Six, Baltar is too weak to do anything. He certainly can't function as president except for the sleeping with lots of women part.

                    Re: Battlestar Galactica

I don't think it is a dream I think there is a Cylon "Civil War" going on. With Zeolots(sp?) on one side wanting to now "care" for humanity and continue their "plan" with the new baby as the center. And those Cylons who want to put humanity behind them (led by Stockwell) and find a new purpose that centers around the Cylons. That is the only way I can see that humanity escapes from the Cylons, with the help of other Cylons. Caprica Six may have "joined" the Zeolots in an effort to see and protect Balter whom she still loves. Either that or the original leader Six is pretending to be Baltar's Six.

I thought about this because of Stockwell's character not showing up in the invasion.

In any case, I don't think it is a Bobby Ewing type dream, because that would be lame.
