I think this is a really good trailer. I'm getting more excited about the movie for other reasons than it's just a Superman movie. I'm intrigued as to why he left and what happens next.

I've always liked the premise of the movie, but I was a little skeptical when the cast was announced and that Lois had a kid. The cast being so young is weird since it takes place after the first couple movies, but I think it will be alright if they don't act too young. These are suppose to be mature characters, outside of Jimmy I guess. I don't want to see Superman acting like he just got the job or something, and it doesn't seem like it will be that way. Hopefully Lois is still a strong character as well. I still don't know what to think about Lois's kid. I hope he isn't in there just for a plot device.

Anyway, I think the trailer looks good (why was young Clark wearing glasses though?). It was cool seeing actual footage of Superman in costume rather than the previous scene where he was just in space.

I like what I see from Spacey. It has a little of the comic book Luthor and a little of the Hackman portrayal in it.

This movie is looking like it's going to be one of the best comic book films of all time. I know it took DC and Warners years to re-launch the franchise but if the movie is going to be as good as it looks in the trailers then i'm not complaining.

BTW when someone said "we can always use new reporters" Routh looked exactly like a younger Christopher Reeve (that's a good thing!)
