    SPOILER for ending.

And I'll keep this cryptic as possible. But in the real ending, they are on the street walking. In the DC ending, Ashton isn't around.

DAM (in the river). You just told me that I didn't see the DC. Guess I gotta head to the video store huh? SUCKS!! Hate reading stuff like this. Already got a broken wallet enough as it is. Dang....

On another note, why the heck would they want to make a part 2? Because of the slump in the movie business. I could see if it still had the same characters but just continued where they left off. If it's good, then I'll give it a watch, but I'm already planning on avoiding this one. freaking director's cut.....

I saw the DC, then I watched it on Encore the other day with the other ending. The DC ending felt better.

Thank you for letting me know that end. I guess I'll have to actually see it for myself to understand it a little more, though.

The movie was one of my all time favorites. Do some research on the internet about "butterfly effect" and "Chaos Theory"........pretty interesting stuff.

Yet, the real movie about this type of story "Delicate Sound of Thunder" was a BOMB! Ironic.

That's exactly why I don't like this movie... because Ashton Kutcher thought he was a deep thinker when he made it and people who saw it act like they're deep thinkers when they understand it.

Yes, I understood it. The movie did not go over my head. Thank you for trying to insult my intelligence. You can now go back to discussing this already overdiscussed movie while I laugh at how smart some of you think you are by understanding Kutcher's classic film.

What's to understand? Ernest Goes to Space is a more complicating movie than this.

It's simple... he goes back in time to mend past horrible experiences in order for his friends to live a better life (or just to live). I don't quite see the confusion in that.

The fact is, it's a good movie with a good concept. Kutcher and Smart were very good choices for this movie, though I never thought it would be that way.

Oh snap!! I can't even begin to understand. Guess this weekend is a movie weekend for me....after my game. Oh, and Underworld 2 is coming out too. Great weekend. Sweet spoiler. I gotta see that joint.

I liked the movie for the simple fact that within all that he had power over, he couldn't make things right to his liking. There were so many different outcomes that could have been but they all seemed to come up short. Kind of like the helplessness of the human race (not getting into religion) on earth. Great movie that I gotta see again....

I actually like Ashton Kutcher, in a non-sexual way. I dislike condescending, know-it-all people, that's all.

Anyways... like Blzer said (sup Muff) it's not that hard of a movie to understand. I just find it funny you start acting smart all of the sudden because you understood Butterfly Effect.
