Re: 78th Annual Academy Awards
Originally posted by asianflowJon Stewart did a great job as the host. His jokes were funny. He was way better than Chris Rock and even better than Billy Crystal. I hate the musicals that Crystal always does.
Nobody famous broke down at the podium. There wasn't a "Jamie Foxx, Julia Roberts, Hilary Swank, Halle Berry" type speech this year.
10 years from now I'll probably remember this years Oscars for Three 6 Mafia.
Anyway, yeah jon did a good job. At the beginning he seemed nervous but he got better later on.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Yet, with homosexuality, it seems like it's ok to make jokes about.
It should be frowned upon for both things, not only one of them.Blind to this impending fate

Originally posted by SuperstarI'm confused by your quote.... are you calling Crash or Capote gay? I've never seen Capote so I have no clue if that's what you are talking about.
Truman Capote was a homosexual (or bi...I don't know) and his works had homosexual themes.Comment

Re: 78th Annual Academy Awards
Originally posted by DefelI wasn't referencing Crash at all in my quote. I was referring to Brokeback and Capote. It would have been amusing to me if Brokeback lost, silencing the naysayers, while another "gay" movie won.

Oh, like I said, I've never seen it and don't know anything about Capote so I was lost on your quote.http://flotn.blogspot.com

Originally posted by FootballForeverAcid, I really didn't say anything bad, I mean come on now. I don't no anybodys sexuality on this site, but If I offened anyone, I didn't mean it#SimnationComment

2) it's a lot more tolerable when a person of said group jokes about it but when outsiders do then it can have the veneer of hatred in it.
Anywho this is getting way too political for the board so this is my last comment on this particular subject.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club
