I thought stewart was great...some people are just uptight about stewart because he will poke fun at everyone.

      Exactly.

Just look at the joke when he said Walk the Line was Ray with white people.

Foxx? Loved it. Phoenix? Looked like he had a stick up his ***.

Some stars I think took themselves too seriously.

I missed that joke but I was surprised that he actually said some of the jokes that he did. The joke about russell crowe was hilarious.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

I thought the Joke about pulling down the Oscar statue was hilarious, as was the Russel Crow one(not going to lie....only two jokes I saw, lol)

I THINK this was the joke but I loved Clooney's reaction when Stewart said that Clooney always ends his dates by saying "good night and good luck". Clooney was laughing at it then realized that he got slammed and had a sour look on his face.

              Priceless!

Apparently my local theatre sucks. The only movies that were nominated for best picture that was at my theatre was Brokeback Mountain and for 2-3 weeks, Munich. I saw Syriana, but it was only the theatre for about 3 weeks. I wanted to see Capote and Good Night and Good Luck, but whatever. Just wait for the DVDs.

Theatre's gotta make money. Can't blame them for not wanting to re-run movies that didn't even crack the top 10 all year. Gotta cater to the customer.

Clooney's the man, he's so funny.

Several people at my workplace saw it when it first came out, and everyone said it was a great movie. This was way before any hype or Oscar talk. I just tried to buy a CRASH DVD at best Buy and Circuit City, but they were all sold out.

I don't think there is anyway that Crash was better than Munich which didn't even get any consideration besides a nomination.

My only regret from this year's Oscars was not seeing Salma Hayek and Jessica Alba in HD.

Ended up watching the show at my parent's house (satellite but no HD).

The movie that got slammed was Cinderella Man. THAT was a great movie.
