IMO... the poster boys of today's great underground rap.
He said that he already knew about the bigger guys so that's why I left them out.

That's funny because most people don't see them as "underground" anymore.
Cameras or guns, one of them is gonna shoot me to death.

I still know a surprising amount of (so-called) rap listeners who have never heard the name Little Brother.

They haven't had much success with sales on the billboard chart either...

They are still very underground imo.

I'd still call Little Brother underground too. And if you're talking about Black Star, Boot Camp Click and the likes, then they definitely deserve a mention.

Even people from North Carolina haven't heard of them. When I was living in Raleigh I had no idea they existed until I went on the internet, they were never played on the radio or talked about.

Man, I've been listening to more Black Star (already love Kweli), and Common. This ****s incredible! Mos Def may be one of the best lyricists out.

That's crazy, their HOT in Toronto man. I guess we don't discriminate...that and our local scene is straight garbage, so we're kinda forced to branch out and find good music.
