      Any songs/albums you'd recommend, Kev?

You should check out RJD2. Ghostwriter off of Dead Ringer is pretty awesome. So is that album. You could also check out Dan the Automator...The Much Better Tomorrow LP is very nice but it only has a couple instrumentals. Kool Keith rips it up on the other tracks though.

Yeah, I've been meaning to look into RJD2. Beautiful Mine is used for the intro to MadMen and I love it.

There are a lot of great Japanese producers/DJ's. I'm not sure if you're looking for just instrumentals or songs though but these are the guys I listen to and their best album:

            Nujabes- Metaphorical Music
Emancipator- Soon It Will Be Cold Enough
            DJ Deckstream- Deckstream Soundtracks 2
            Nomak- Muziq And Foto
Uyama Hiroto- A Son Of The Sun
            Kenichiro Nishihara- Humming Jazz
            DJ Okawari- Mirror

The Nujabes - Metaphorical Music is fantastic. You should definitely give that a listen. I just heard the Fashawn - Boy Meets World you were talking about. I am really digging that right now. Gonna give it a full whirl tomorrow.

edit: also I got the Wale album and so far I think it's pretty good. Only listened to it a couple times though so still trying to let it all sink in.

I really hate aesops beats on Felt 3, I am only feeling 3 songs out of 20. What a letdown.....

Wale cd is solid, more than I expected.

His beats do not complement slug's style, nor Murs for that matter.

I like maybe 8 tracks, but with two of them being 40 seconds long. ("Get Cake" and "The Clap.") It's just too rough on the ears with no real theme.

                            6/10 - sober, 7.5/10 high.

Bass for your truck is so hilarious... Its the only one that really stands out.
