Good stuff man. I've been going through the past few weeks trying to construct my 2009 in review mixtape.

I'm assuming you'll be posting yours again? I still have those guys in rotation.

Thanks a bunch, man. And here I thought I had all of Ali's stuff.... I found this, though. Thanks again.

His verse on this song is one of the greatest things I've ever heard.

just got the new Gift of Gab, I didn't even know it was coming out. It's about what you would expect after 4th Dimensional Rocketships, and that's a good thing if you're a fan. The album is highlighted by "Dreamin'" which features guest spots from Del and Brother Ali. Overall I'm enjoying it a lot. It'd be great to get some new Blackalicious sometime soon.

On a different note, the new Felt is growing on me a little bit. Still the worst of the three albums but it's not nearly as bad as I originally thought it was.

i give it up to a lot of you guys for not giving up on albums. I think that's the biggest reason why I felt much more of a connection to albums a few years ago, because I would take time to get to know them. Now-a-days, I can get so much music that if I'm trembling on a few bad tracks, that album is out the door in a heartbeat.

I did this for awhile, but it got a little old to me just listening to something for a couple days or a week and then moving on to something else and never going back to it again. I've had to tone down a little on my music intake. Sometimes the initial listen is the worst listen.
