sweet. friend request sent. Yeah I know I can track music from the computer, but the thing is, my brother just took the computer to college and it had my entire iTunes library on it. I'm still able to browse from my dad's computer, but he doesn't have nearly enough space for me to rip all my music to, so I'm kinda stuck until I get my laptop.

Re: fans of underground rap?
Quick question. In the song "Walk Like A Man" by Murs on 3:16, second verse, some of the lyrics sound like their muted out; either that or Murs just stops in the middle of his flow and makes it awkward. It happens when Murs is rapping
Motherf***in' and bull are muted out, but nothing else and the rest of the album isn't like this. Whats up?Comment

Re: fans of underground rap?
Well, on Murray's Revenge, Murs doesn't swear in any song. I'm not sure why that is because he swears in Felt. Anyway, maybe it stems from that.
On the end of Barbershop with Big Pooh says " N" he goes "sorry Murs"Comment

Re: fans of underground rap?
Also, does anybody have any info on the new Black Star album. It supposedly comes out this month and I've been starving for some good new hip hop this whole year.
Also, for those interested, apparently Gift of Gab has a new mixtape coming out, complete with remixes of Blazing Arrow classics by Talib Kweli and Redman, among many others. Definitely going to pick this one up.Lux y VeritasComment

Re: fans of underground rap?
Artist: Mos Def
Album: "Tru3 Magic"
Producer(s): Pharell Williams; Kanye West; Rich Harrison
Release Date: October 10th
Reason: Hopefully it's better than "The New Danger"... I can't take another cd like that from Mos. Looking at the producers, it looks promising, and doesn't seem to involve the rock group he was with during "The New Danger". Mighty Mos seemed pretty good in the past year on feature roles, so here's to a new beginning and what should be a nice bounce back for one talented emcee.
Chance of Buying it: Good
Artist: Gift of Gab (Blackalicious)
Album: "Supreme Lyricism Vol. 1 (Mixtape)"
Producer(s): Bink; DNA; Jumbo the Garbageman; Frank Hendler; Headnodic; Chief XCel; E Da Boss; New Flesh; T-One; Lyrics Born; Vitamin D
Release Date: August 18th
Reason: Blackalicious provides a great listen, if you are looking for some mellow tunes, ones for the coffee shops. Songs for the nights you lay in your bed and await to fall asleep and dream. The beats and G of G's voice go hand in hand with accomplishing that. Another thing... Talib is on a track.
Chance of Buying it: Okay, I'm not the biggest Blackalicious fan, but I know of dudes who are.SAN ANTONIO SPURSComment

Re: fans of underground rap?
Blazing Arrow is one of the best albums I have ever heard. It's weird at times but I love it, especially "Feel That Way".Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Xcell, where did you find this Gift of Gab mixtape? I want to pick it up, but none of my local stores have it, so I'm going to order it online but I still can't find a place to buy it.Lux y VeritasComment
