I think Slug has gone the Sage Francis route.....added an indy rock feel. Slug is doing alot more melodies it seems lately too.

Just compare "Best of Times" with "To all my friends".

I personally can't wait for the new Grieves Album with Rhymesayers label behind him. That kid is musically gifted.

The first is my favorite

Also just search 2dopeboyz for his name and find all the other random songs or freestyles he has out...some will be on the mixtapes already though

      Royce is an absolute beast
The First is a classic. The Second is a good prelude to a very solid album. The Third was whack!

New Foreign Exchange album is due out Oct 12.

        First single

        Pretty horrible.

However, Phonte spits a verse starting at 2:38. Gonna have to literally chop that 41 seconds out and save it, then delete the original file

Yea me either, I liked To All My Friends though.

Hopefully I hear a little more passion/intensity from Slug in the others.

I'm listening to the new Black Milk album and the only impression I have is that I wish he would stop rapping and just produce an entire album for Royce.

I like it. Phonte's singing has improved a lot since Leave It All Behind.
