Make sure to tell me what YOU think about Talib and Common, because although I'm passing on them for myself, if I hear some good stuff from you guys, then I'll consider getting their stuff...

sure thing. I know that I liked "Be" though the beats were way too similar. As for "Right About Now", well I liked some songs and the others I listened to maybe a couple times and that was it.

Guess what album I just heard?

Pretty dope from the first listen, I'll have to give it a few more spins before I say Pharoahe is back.

The whole album or the sampler?

I wanna get the new Teedra Moses album "The Young Lioness"

lots of production from 9th Wonder on it... plus she has a nice voice and it definitely helps that she's got looks.

Oh yeah. I've been bumping it for a week now. And yeah, it bangin'.

And it's been stated that this album with Marley Marl is the first of a series of historic album collaborations that KRS is supposedly involved in. I'm hoping, no praying that he works with Ced-Gee (Ultramagnetic MCs) again.

I'm not a huge fan of Madlib or Talib anymore but this Eardrum advance is nice. I don't know how many people have heard it yet but it's worth a listen.

I thought Desire wasn't supposed to drop until at least a couple weeks. Dammit... you're making me jealous now.

How does what you heard compare to Internal Affairs or any of the Organized Konfusion albums?

I don't like it at all... I like "Free" and a few other songs, but nothing wows me here at all...

If anyone dabbles in some Us3... get their new album "Say What!?" ... even if you don't dabble, you will enjoy the entirely different jazz sound in this hip-hop (more up-beat vintage new orleans sound) rather than your typical "moans" and samples from 9th Wonder etc...

The Verse of the Year (2007) leader exists on the song "VIP (Can You Hear Me Now)"... it starts at 2:34 on the track.
