I agree with Nivek. I download albums, but if I like them I buy.

      New Skyzoo is hot.

New Nicolay is straight up garbage.

From a hip-hop perspective, yeah it's garbage, but if you look at it from that perspective, you are missing the point of what the album is.

I found the Nicolay album to be soothing, relaxing and I thought it was the perfect background music for couch conversations. Instrumentation that you don't have to talk (loudly) over, and it's got an upbeat vibe to it, so it doesn't make you feel all drowsy and ****. I found the album to be more about the mood it perpetuates. In that aspect, it does a very fine job.

Yeah I don't know why people are complaining about it but maybe it's because I'm into instrumental albums.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

I'm the same, I love instrumental albums...i like rhyming, so they just naturally give me an outlet to freestyle.

LOL you guys can't be serious. I'm about to go through all the songs again...

but for gods sake, the albums title song, "Shibuya Station" sounds like one of those freaking sample pre-loaded loops you would find in a really cheap keyboard or something. 4 year olds have composed better music

edit: and it continues into "Crossings." This like some music you would hear in a crappy 80's movie dream sequence or something

edit: LOL "Raining" is sooooo bad. It's like sega genesis menu music!!!! my god, how anyone can like this beats the hell out of me

edit: He even gives his "songs" crappy titles...Rise Under the Neon Moon LOL. I'm about to bust that Lil Nemo sega game, I'm pretty sure he jacked their soundtrack

There are a couple of decent songs. Meiji Shrine or whatever it is is decent. The song before it has a real similar sound to a couple of songs he did for FE. If he wants to make music he should go work in a fake video game sega genesis sounding orchestra, not putting out albums and getting them co-signed by a hip hop artist. GTFO

LOL the songs at :28 and 3:04 are by Nicolay I'm pretty sure

Just listened to the new skyzoo (yeah, i know I'm late), what a great album. One of the few albums of 2009 that I can listen from begining to end.
