After about a week with Sage Francis Discography, I am hooked.

He's disgustingly good. If you combined his "intellect" with Slug's "Emotion" you would have the perfect MC.

Another thing - I don't know who produces Sages stuff but the depth and polish in the beats is really incredible when you it compare it to other underground stuff.

It's various producers for the most part. Joey Beats handled everything on "Hope", but generally it's a mix of Alias (both early and new stuff), Reanimator (beast! check out his "Music to Slit Wrists By" instrumental album), and Buck 65.

My dream album right now would be Blu and Fashawn produced entirely by Exile.

It's streaming on MySpace today: http://www.myspace.com/sagefrancis

It's a shame to listen to an album like this for the first time in the background at work, but them's the breaks. I'll get a full listen after work, it's pretty dense so far, great stuff.

                            This is pretty badass- http://grievesandbudo.com/

They remixed Felt3 - slowed it down and now I can actually listen to it. Awesome!
