Below The Heavens is a great album. Blu has the complete package....subject matter, wordplay, flow. Exile is a good producer (check out the Emanon albums) and his beats are surprisingly consistent on Below The Heavens. Kinda similar to Kno's beats with all the different sounds and layers....you could tell he put in work. I just wish Blu would've rapped over "You Are Now In The Clouds With". That beat is ridiculous.

Re: fans of underground rap?
I actually never did. ... it ended up getting an 85% from me, but I wasn't favoring posting a B grade for an album that did have some really hot gems, and I generally agreed with the board on how it was a great album, even though it wasn't one of my faves. jmood gave a better opinion on it than I could have ever really thought of.
Is there an instrumental album? I want simply amazin' my ringtone i love that sample on that song.Comment

Re: fans of underground rap?
He said that he's recording his new album now. He has an EP that's supposed to come out soon. He's a cool guy though, really down to earth.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: fans of underground rap?
Anyone listen to the EMC (Masta Ace's new group) album? I'm going through it right now and it doesn't dissapoint. Rhymes are on point, beats are solid, and the skits are actually very good. The concept is pretty cool too. "Once More", "Winds of Change", "Traffic", and "Don't Give Up On Us" are my favorite tracks. The only bad thing about the albums is the beat for "The Show". Masta Ace always puts out great albums.

Re: fans of underground rap?
ok, sorry that I don't know the exact date that every album leaks. No offense man but just share your opinion on the album or move on. If I made a post saying that I just listened to Illmatic the other day would you say the same thing?
sorry if I sound like an a-hole but this has always bugged me. Not everyone can listen to every cd right after it comes out.Comment

For anybody in Atlanta, Blu is giving out copies of his new cd at the a3c hip hop festival. Somebody just uploaded it.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
