Don't know if it was mentioned in here but Bun B's "II Trill" album is a MUST HAVE/COP.

REALLY!!!??? I heard it like 2 weeks ago, and I didn't bring it up in here because I thought Bun B failed miserably. I was expecting so much more, but the beats are just too "south" for me. Kinda funny that he won't talk about Purple Sizzurp no more tho b/c of Pimp C... but now all he talks about is Candy Painted Slabs. Gets stale.

I can understand him not talkin bout Codiene anymore because of Pimp. Hell, if my homie died from that stuff too, I wouldn't talk about it as much either.

You must got Bun B confused with Mike Jones lol(who is probably the most predictable rapper alive) because I ain't hear Bun talk about that as much unless it was like one or two hooks on like 1 or 3 songs.

Alot of people(not on here)said they were expecting alot from Bun. Either expecting him to put up 50 type numbers or make a Thug Motivation classic when Bun ain't been known to do either lol

I probably had siced what I said earlier by my earlier statement. It's not a must have for EVERYBODY but it definitely worth a listen tho.

I don't care about numbers... I don't think anyone in the 'Fans of Underground Rap' thread care about numbers. That means nothing really to me. I guess I prefer Bun B when he's featured because he usually is fire, as his voice is unique and easy to listen to, and his flow is flawless... and he's over some better-chosen beats. I want more beats like "Pushin". Not what I hear on an every day basis on the Dallas hip hop radio circuits. Most of that is "snap" and "krunk" trash.

I never said anyone cares about numbers other than the fact that people(again NOT ON HERE)either expected him to put up 50 type numbers or a classic.

I agree, I want more beats like Pushin as well but unfortunately in this era, we're just about forced fed to hear that "snap" garbage on the radio on a regular basis.

True man... I'm not disagreeing with you in any way ... I'm just sad that Bun B's album didn't live up to MY expectations. I even listened to the sampler he released about a month ago, and I knew I was going to be disappointed... but I gave him the benefit of the doubt because he's Bun freakin B lol... but damn. I nearly deleted the entire album, save for like 2 songs, that I don't even really listen to anyway.

                      Too long...at least a year.

I got that from Amazon.com with that release date. I guess I'll know for sure when I go to work tomorrow morning at FYE and see if we got it. We always get the next week new released on Friday. I've never been more excited to go to work, although I have a feeling I will be terribly disappointed.

I just checked Best Buy's website and they've also got the CD set to release June 3rd. This looks like excellent news.

Atmosphere concert in Toronto was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CRAZY DOPE!

Slug felt so bad about canceling the initial show that he brought along a friend...............BROTHER ALI!!!!!!!!

I've never seen Brother Ali and Slug on the same bill, and it was just sick!
