If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

yeah it's not very good. I think we all need to accept that Common is more of a Kanye-like artist now... but he's very influenced by different movements.

I remember his 1994 album "Resurrection"... that album was one of many reasons why 1994 marked a hip-hop revolution, a progression of sorts. He was all about that movement.

Then he got on that whole spiritual clip... dressing bohemian, and making flowery rap.

Now he's into the Kanye/Pharell audiojuice. More catchy than groundbreaking.

With all of that said, he has some real bangers on the album... check out "Inhale", "Punch Drunk Love" ft. Kanye, "Everywhere", and my personal fave featuring Cee-Lo Green... "Make My Day".

Picked up Murs For President and The Renaissance earlier this week and gave them both a quick listen through. Both excellent albums.

For Murs I'm lovin Lookin Fly and I'm Innocent, and for Tip I'm lovin Johnny Is Dead and Gettin Up so far

They basically have 2 albums... 2007's "The District" and 2008's "Summer Sessions"... I downloaded Summer Sessions, and it already sounds super great! I love the song "Summer So Good"!
