I am really dissappointed so far.I will give it one more week.Last night was a very bad showing.Too bad, season one was great televison.I had a feeling the show would go downhill once they broke out.The whole premise of the show was Schoefield and his brother breaking out.

Was anyone else annoyed that TBAG used his attatched hand to administer the injection to the doctor.Come on, people would need months of therapy after a surgeon(not a vet)attatches the severed hand back together.

To tell you the truth I am enjoying Vanished much more than Prison Break.

        IMO of course.

I agree that episode wasn't very good, but there were weak eps in season 1 too. I kind of think that the supercop wrinkle was a bad move on their part, because what makes the show interesting is to see Scofield's ingenious plans coming to fruition and fooling everyone. There's still suspense, because Scofield's plans aren't foolproof and anything can go wrong. With the addition of the supercop it's almost like it's a sure thing something WILL go wrong, and that kind of ruins the unpredictability of the show and the suspense of it.

I agree with the sentiment this show is in transition mode, that's why I'm still reserving judgement on it. I think people are being too rash in writing it off so soon, it takes a while to build up the suspense. Prison break season 1 was iffy in the beginning as well, but it grows on you as the plot becomes more convoluted and the stakes become higher.

Bingo, the most wanted people in America, break into a jail house to break out the one's son. They are seen by dozens of cops, and still escape..AGAIN. YEAH RIGHT!

TBag using his right hand immediately, the kid at school being able to hitch a ride with ZERO credentials, etc.

I can accept it's a TV show, but come on, they aren't all super human all of a sudden.

For me, last night was pretty much the end of my enjoyment in it.
My wife and I really enjoyed this show last year, but last night's episode was just ridiculous. My wife at one point yelled at Linc "would you at least put on some sunglasses rather than stand out on the corner winking at girls you idiot!"

The number of just absolutely stupid scenes last night is just astounding....a vet plays vascular surgeon...the most wanted men in america break into a courthouse and get away....the kid "mails his stuff" to Utah and still gets a coed to take him in a car...etc, etc, etc...and I'm still fuming over 2 things (well, 2 of the many problems) in the season premiere:
              1. Michael really has to tatoo "Ripe Chance Woods" on his body to remember that he has stuff in a graveyard?
              2. There is no way that super cop figures out what "Ripe Chance Woods" means that quickly...tv show or not

I haven't enjoyed either episode this season, although I am going to stick with it for another week or two just to see if things get any better...at least Veronica is dead, right?

And to echo someone else's sentiments, Vanished has been much better so far this season.

That would explain it then, we watch Fox news at night, otherwise, I would have missed it as well probably. But in an hour long news cast, they would show a preview for Prison Break 4-5 times. LOL

These were some of the same things that were bugging me while watching this show today. For this show to be successful, they should just copy The Fugitive.

There are some things that were out of hand in episode #2, but I'll continue to watch as next week looks much better.

I imagine that when it gets rolling and everyone gets on the road things will pick up. I'm more interested with Billick going on his manhunt to track down the inmates.

Am I the only one enjoying this show still? If everything was "realistic", they NEVER would have broken out of jail, and they WOULD have been caught by now. Where's the fun in that? It's a friggen tv show people.

I'll admit that the whole premise of season one was better obviously, with breaking out of jail. But I am still very interested to see what happens with everybody that broke out. Guess i'm alone

I'm still enjoying it. No matter what season 2 and beyond was going to be much harder to put together. I'm interested in seeing where it goes from here.

Agreed. Season 2 will be much harder to put together, as the main premise of the show, 'breaking out of prison', has already happened. I just don't understand why, after two episodes of setting up the rest of the season, it seems everyone is giving up on this show.
