I would say L.Z. They are still before their time in my opinion. I hated them growing up, but just of late I am getting into it now, But Black S. is a good choice too. Wow this is tough!

I don't know if a lot of people like them now, but Guns and Roses could have been something, if Axel and Slash could have got along. They had the so called "it"!Comment

 Re: True Pioneers of Rock

Oddly enough and this is just an observation of mine but I do see simularities between "Little Richard" and "Prince" both great musicians and both relating to one another with styles both in appearence and musical efforts...Richard did not get involved in movies though but back in his day he was a "True" pioneer of "Rock & Roll in IMHO but there are many, many others this guy stood out and was really into the music of his day, Elvis was rather cool and a real lady killer...chicks really got into that cat and Jerry Lee Lewis was just one "great ball of fire" and a wild man performing on stage Rock & Roll at its finest!!!

Ouch way you hit so hard?

Elvis was great and I see nothing wrong with music being expressed black or white, music has no color bro chill out ever heard of cross over musicians and their creative music efforts?

Heres another great for ya' "Buddy Holly" a true legend in the lore of Rock & Roll, and did you do know the Hall of "Rock & Roll" is in my former hometown Cleveland, Ohio and they know their stuff so let me here you guys speak up and represent!!!
