With albums...I'll even break down to songs (the songs aren't necessarily on the albums I recommend)

Art Brut - Bang Bang Rock & Roll (they only have one album out): Formed A Band, Emily Kane, and Bang Bang Rock & Roll

Queens of the Stone Age - Songs for the Deaf or Rated R: Feel Good Hit of the Summer (hilarious), In The Fade, Monsters in the Parasol, Hangin' Tree, No One Knows, Go With The Flow.

Eagles of Death Metal - Death By Sexy (they have two albums out, the first being Peace Love Death Metal but I think the newest album is better): I Want You So Hard (Boy's Bad News), Shasta Beast, Poor Doggie

The Flaming Lips - Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots: Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots, Pt. 1, Fight Test, Do You Realize??, Yeah Yeah Yeah Song, Mr. Ambulance Driver

      Sleater-Kinney
      - The Woods: Modern Girl, Jumpers, What's Mine Is Yours

Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Fever To Tell and Show Your Bones (the albums are drastically different from each other in terms of immediate style and sound): Maps, Rich, Gold Lion, Cold Light

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Howl: Ain't No Easy Way, Still Suspicion Holds You Tight, Sympathetic Noose, Shuffle Your Feet

The Black Keys - Thickfreakness: Have Love Will Travel, Midnight In Her Eyes, I Cry Alone, Stack Shot Billy

The Derek Trucks Band - Songlines: Crow Jane, I'd Rather Be Blind Crippled and Crazy, Chevrolet

The White Stripes - The White Stripes: Screwdriver, Big Three Killed My Baby, Stop Breaking Down, Seven Nation Army, Astro, Hotel Yorba, Take Take Take

Franz Ferdinand - Franz Ferdinand: Take Me Out, Walk Away, Fade Together, Eleanor Put Your Boots On, This Fire, Auf Achse

Modest Mouse - The Moon & Antarctica or Lonesome Crowded West: Paper Thin Walls, Gravity Rides Everything, Tiny Cities Made of Ashes, Jesus Was An Only Child, Doin' The Cockroach, Cowboy Dan
Ugly Casanova - Sharpen Your Teeth (Isaac Brock from Modest Mouse's sideproject): Spilled Milk Factory, Smoke Like Ribbons, Things I Don't Remember

Iron & Wine - Our Endless Numbered Days: Naked As We Came, Cinder & Smoke, Free Until They Cut Me Down

Brendan Benson - Lapalco: Metarie, Folk Singer, Jet Lag, Cold Hands (Warm Heart), Flesh and Bone

Cat Power - The Greatest: Lived in Bars, Living Proof, The Moon

Feist - Let It Die: Mushaboom, When I Was A Young Girl, Gatekeeper.

How about sparing us the snippy comments and just give the guy what he was asking for?

I'll throw out some of my favorites and a song from them in this category and try to stay away from screamo...

Taking Back Sunday - 'Cute Without the E'

Thousand Foot Krutch - 'Art of Breaking'

                Anberlin - 'Ready Fuels'

The Classic Crime - 'The Fight'

Brand New - 'Seventy Time Seven'

                Skillet - 'Savior'

                Breaking Benjamin - 'Follow'

The Wedding - 'Wake the Regiment'

Thats just a few for now. Didn't really put too much though into it but hopefully it'll get you in the right direction.

Tool - Amazing band...10000 days their new CD is coming out in a couple of weeks. Probably my favorite group.

Ryan Adams - Very underrated singer/songwriter/everything. Classified as alt-country but pretty diverse style.

Sounds to me like your rock tastes are pretty mainstream, so you should check out Buckcherry's new album, "15." Straight-ahead crunchy rock with a ballad tossed in.

                      Take care,

You need new shutters for your house? Or is that the name of a new band or album?

If you're going to be a smart-azz, at least learn how to spell the word properly.
