Nobody on that list has an "undeniable classic". Black Star is very close with their album and I certainly consider it a classic but others don't.

    Awful, awful list.

Speaking of Black Star, are they working on another album? I saw on here somebody posted a link a leaked track. I didn't know if it was new or not.

I'm not sure I understand why exactly I like Cam'Ron... I know his lyrics are ****ty... But still always pick up his albums. Can't explain it.

Their follow up has been "rumored" since 2001 or so. Since Mos Def focused on acting I stopped holding my breath.

              Damn.

Anyway, MTV pretty much admits they're only considering mainstream "artists" in Talib's forecast.

If 50 Cent is on this list, then Master P of all people should be as well.........

I find it funny that MTV drops this list right after their previous list that gave them alot of credabillity. Their last list for the most part was damn good for an MTV list, and most people agreed with it... now this.

Black Star is an undeniable classic. I think College Dropout is a classic as well, but not an undeniable classic.

Did MTV simply mean that every album with an "*" next to it is their best or did they really say they were all UNDENIABLE CLASSICS.

50 cent, Camron and Kanye have no business being on that list. Popularity does not equal skill.

Hell no. There are lots of underground guys who should be on there but of course they won't be. At least jada, ti, and beanie got some love.

Because he isn't that great of a rapper. He is very overrated.
