You're correct. The package I ordered comes with three clear shields for the display to put on before you put the skin on. These things scratch easily.

BIG time. I have plenty of opportunity at work. Or at the gym when not lifting (treadmill etc.). I'm just gonna put on season's of shows I haven't even watched on TV and of course Family Guy.

The great thing about the Zen, is that it plays .avi files, also, when it detects a file that's not playable, the bundled software will ask you if you want to convert it.

I can't wait for this thing to get here. It's on it's way!

I got a bunch of video files already to go.

What do you guys watch on yours?

There is also a rumor that the second firmware update will be released VERY shortly.

HOW IRONIC is LIFE. Posting on this board about how great the Creative Zen Vision:M is and how it is a must buy.

Then just today i spilled a little water on it and its gone totally HAYWIRE. My Creative Zen Vision:M is all screwy, the scroller wheel is all screwed up as it either scrolls by itself or can't scroll at all. I can't even shut off the player itself. I hope CREATIVE has a good repair/warranty policy or something.

JISTIC, a word of advice, get a screen protecter/player case, ASAP. The Creative Zen Vision:M is definetly not water proof. Also, turn you scroll sensitivity to low for easier use.

What MP3 device is waterproof? How much water did you spill on it?

Scrolling gets easier once you get used to it. At first I lowered the sensitivity to low but after a while I switched it to high.

JISTIC, right now I have whole seasons of Season 4 Family Guy and Wonder Showzen. I also have a few Soprano episodes and the movie Grandma's Boy plus my 20 or so gigs of music. The videos look as if they were ripped from a DVD. The screen is just beautiful.

                      Aside from my music...

I have the 1st (and only) season of "Fastlane"
                      Season's 3, 4, and 5 of "Scrubs"
                      Season 4 of "Family Guy"
and Dave Chappelle's "Killen Em Softly"

I usually put some combination of those on my MP3 player along with music videos, basketball mixtapes, wrestling matches, and I have alot of Rap City freestyles on there too (Jay-Z, Dipset, Fabolous, Cassidy, etc.)

Well I finally got it! I copied about 2500 MP3's, Two movies, a bunch of music videos and a few concerts, plus all of this season's episodes of "How I met your mother", and I still have 10 gig left!

Found a GREAT decoder to convert MPEG's to AVI's, sync's up the audio perfectly and usually packs down the file size from anywhere to 10-50% with ZERO loss of quality.

The sound on this thing rocks, and the screen....oh the screen is SO lovely! Very happy so far. Anyone looking for a personal media player should take a long hard look at this one.
