It depends on how well her comics sell. If the numbers aren't there, then they won't want to dedicate time and resources to a full Raven title.

      Thanks!

Good to know that at least there is a chance for a continuation of stories

Found out today that back in 2015, DC did a series of variant covers for some comics based on movie posters, and they're all incredible.

Man, some of those should've been sold as posters on their own.

DAMMIT PLEASE TELL ME SOMEONE ELSE IS READING HOUSE OF X/POWERS OF X. Hickman just did a massive retcon that changes X-men history and changes the viewpoint and feel of certain interactions in X-men and marvels overall history...

OMG its insane. It literally has the most important exchange in X-Men history.

I was considering it, since I've never really read X-Men (aside from random comics in the late 90s, and recent Iceman stuff) and I want to start. I was thinking this would be a good place to start, and your review makes it seem more like it.

              I'll check back in.

If you or anyone is familiar, can I get a quick rundown of where the X-Men universe is, going into this..."reboot"?

Defintely give it a read. If for only just getting to this weeks House of X issue. Its Johnathan Hickman so the mystery is still in the air, but when i tell you there's a pages that literally is the most important page in X-men history, i'm not lying, but i have to say this weeks House of X was one of my favorite reads of all time, personally. It literally will change how certain events in the X-men's entire history will be viewed. I can spoil it if you like in another post/pm.

Granted, if you enjoy it or not depends on if you like Hickman's style, but he's seemingly trying to escape that Days of Future Past is a given future for the X-men.

And i'll say you literally don't have to read any previous X-men run by any writer, and there's a reason for that.

Just picked up both issues of House of X, and the first issue of Powers of X.

If I remember correctly, both are limited runs leading to basically the new X-Men #1, correct?

I've got to go read Powers of X again after reading HoX#2, things might not seem so crazy now. HoX is amazing.

October is the new status quo for the series. The next issues in the series are Powers of X 2 and 3 and then House of X #3 but it seems the important issues are House of X 5 and Power of X 6 as well as Nathan Richards and his reality warping powers.

Fully agree with the hype about HoX and PoX, looking like Hickman will do some big things.

Another event that kicked off this week that was great through issue 1, Absolute Carnage, highly recommend checking it out.

I've been reading through Amazing Spider-Man beginning with Straczynski's run way back in 1999. So far so good. Some intense issues so far. 9/11. Aunt May confronting Peter about being Spider-Man.

Yes, it's awesome to have a great storyteller like Hickman in charge of the Franchise. He respects the characters and the fandom, and of course the franchise can now be written with total authenticity again, without having to be affected by the whole movie rights nonsense anymore.

The one complaint I have about this in the short term... is that all of this will almost certainly be in a vacuum. Are Krakoa portals going to show up in other books? My guess is we're going to get things rejiggered into a new status quo and THEN we'll start to see more crossovers and stuff again into other books while everything we get in the short term will just be in service to build a new foundation for the X-titles.
