I might finally see them after I get done reading the first two books.

Well, these are the books aside from DVC and A&D i've read this past year or so (I imagine you've heard enough of both DVC and A&D):

The Loch (by Steve Alten): Really fun adventure/action/horror story about a scientist contacted by his father at Loch Ness. He is contacted to prove his fathers innocence in a supposed murder which his father claims was committed by the "Loch Ness Monster". His son doesn't believe him at first, but his past reminds him about a run in with Nessie and he soon begins his search for the monster. Really fun read.

MEG: Primal Waters (by Steve Alten): 3rd book in Alten's series about the prehistoric shark, "Megalodon", the 60 foot ancestor of the great white. The first two are also fantastic summer reads, "MEG" and "The Trench". All of the books deal with a man, Jonas Taylor, haunted by a tragedy committed by the megalodon in the Mariana Trench, and he is out to prove that he wasn't seeing things, and the Meg is really not extinct. Awesome action scenes involving the shark(s). Also, MEG is going to be a big summer movie next summer.

Subterranean (by James Rollins): A team of scientists travel to the middle of the earth, and discover they are not alone. They run into packs of prehistoric beasts, along with breeds of different animals, including a marsupial/crocodile creature, and an ancient civilization of people. Really fun read.

As you can tell, I really like "blockbuster", or "big action" books. I am also intrigued by nearly any type of story, but I really enjoy reading books in this genre. You should give them a try.

The Christ Clone trilogy is excellent and not really about Catholicism as much as it is a fictional end times theory that incorporates tons of sceintific, religious, and political knowledge....really excellent work, and its what i wanted out of the da vinci code but didn't get

I plan on reading House of Leaves, not sure about what else tho
