Not to mention that it is much easier to manufactor pop rappers than singers of any other genre because its more about a image than anything else. So if u can push your product on the big local radio stations and on MTV and BET you can make millions off talentless people without much work

Re: So when will the rap fad go away?
Actually I do like some of the Wu. Off the top of my head, Tribute, Gravel Pit, M.e.t.h.o.d M.a.n., and another one I know I'm missing. Now I was never hard core Wu or anything....Now the Beastie Boys Im totally down with, from Licened to Ill to the 5 Buroughs. I dont know if their still considered Rap.Last edited by Laettner32; 05-23-2006, 06:23 PM.Comment

Re: So when will the rap fad go away?
Laettner, I'm the same way as you though. I hate damn near every thing that's out today. My iPod is fully of hip hop from late 80's and the 90's. I really don't even buy any of the new stuff that comes out. i'm still a huge Outkast fan and I heard one of their singles for their new album on the radio the other day and it is hot! I can't wait until it releases. Kast is one cd that I know i'll alway like and will pick up on release day. No matter how many years go past, Big Boi and Dre pretty stay true to the same formula."Never trust a big butt and a smile."-Ricky Bell

And the good rap is better than most of anything else out there. Good wordplay, good flow, and a beat that makes you nod your head.
