i also think we are not going to see penguien seeing as they wanna go with more realstic villians i would love to see clayman and other characters that havent been in films though

Me too. I think what I'm most curious about, aside from who is playing Dent/Two-Face and how they're going to do without Lucius Fox is if there will be a real Batmobile in the movie.

No press release yet, but one should be coming shortly I've been informed. I must say that I'm pretty happy about this! Of all the names rumored, Eckhart was the BEST, IMO (Props to LATINO REVIEW for breaking the story)...
IGN contacted Maggie Gyllenhaal's reps at CAA who said the following regarding their client and TDK: "We have no comment or denial on that." If Ms. Gyllenhaal is cast as Rachel Dawes, she'll be part of a cast that included Heath Ledger (The Joker) who starred opposite her brother Jake in BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN. Ironically, Jake damn near was cast as Batman in BATMAN BEGINS...

i was reading a comic of batman and batman begins had another bad character in it, goes by the name Victor Zsaz(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zsasz), he was the one pointing the knife at rachel and the little kid while the microwave emitter was going off

*shrugs* To each their own, I suppose. Plus, I'm a bit biased anyway. However, all I have to do is watch the 2nd to the last scene in the film and know exactly why Holmes was such a perfect fit for Dawes in the movie.
