I've heard this movie cures cancer.

It also clears up your skin and makes your hair strong and shiny.

      You forgot world peace...

I'm as excited for this movie as anyone, but some people are taking the hype WAY overboard. I understand excitement, but I can't see people calling a movie best ever without seeing it first. Such is the hype machine I guess.

I like it bc it doesnt look a movie marketed to the idiots (i hated fantastic four, didnt laugh once or enjoy it). This is a darker, seedier, more real version of a superhero movie. There are parts that might be out there, but its more down to earth imo.

Which is why Batman has been and always will be my favorite superhero. Hes not some mutant or alien like superman he's a human being . It always seemed the most reasonable to me...it made sense what he was able to do because he was rich and he had such a desire (with the death of his parents). I think people get excited especialy with this new installment of movies because of how real it is in the end and how dark and emotionally charged the story is.

            Bloody-Disgusting review
If 2008 proved anything thus far, it's that there is hope for cinema. With dozens upon dozens of mind-numbing films being dumped into theaters, we have already seen a few glimmers of hope, even though I still haven't seen a film that blew me away... that is until last night. Warner Bros. Pictures' THE DARK KNIGHT is not only the best film I have seen this year, but quite possibly the best superhero movie ever made.

The question is no longer is this the best super hero movie in the last 10 years. It's not even is it the best super hero movie ever made. Hell, it's not even is it the best movie ever made. At this point the real question is, is it better than looking directly into the face of God Himself and feeling His all encompassing warmth and love?

BTW - Anyone here from Columbus going to Worthington to see it at the IMAX? I'm just moving into that area and would love to go see it with a fellow OS'er!

Which iMax are you going to? The one I checked the other day was all sold out for the midnight showing.

Hookset, NH. cinemagicmovies.com. Their wording is really confusing as it says 12:01 AM the evening of Friday the 18th, but I called to confirm it is indeed a showing for Thursday night/Friday morning.

                            Ah, alright.

I was looking at the one in Framingham, MA. Don't think I feel like driving to NH the night before.

I'll probably buy tickets to the 9am or 12pm show on the 18th tomorrow after I talk to some friends.

Yeah, its a bit of a haul. I have a friend who lives in Manchester so I'll just drive up to his place from Boston and hang out with him that night before we head off. I don't have to be into work until 10 on Friday so I'll be able to get at least some sleep.

Yeah, if I knew anyone that lived in NH it'd be easier, but since I don't...I'll skip the midnight showing and find someone to go with me during the day.
