Re: The Dark Knight Discussion
Your going to get there 2 hours early to get seats? I was asking this question 2-3 pages ago and never had anyone recommend anything, I was thinking of getting there at 11:00 for the 12:01 showing, which is sold out, but I dont want to get stuck with crap seats either. If anyone has any input that would be appreciated as well.Comment

Re: The Dark Knight Discussion
Holy crap, so you are going to sit there for 1.5-2 hours waiting for the movie to start? I guess I will get there at 10:00 or so and bring the PSP or the DS and sit there and play that until the movie starts, I never thought I would need to get there that early. Im in Oregon so maybe it wont be as bad since your in a bigger city then I am but I guess it doesnt hurt to get there that early as long as I bring something to do as well so Im not sitting there and doing nothing while waiting for it to start.Comment

Re: The Dark Knight Discussion
Im obviously an idiot, but how do you get seats and then walk around? You put your name on the seats or something? I would figure the moment you left your seats, someone else would take them from you. I cant wait either way, I just dont want to get stuck sitting in the front row like I did when I saw LOTR on opening night years ago.Comment

Re: The Dark Knight Discussion
Thanks XLR, Im planning on getting there around 10:15-10:30, I would be somewhat shocked if it played out here in Oregon like it might in a bigger city like Chicago but it has been sold out for 1-3 days so there will be other people there. They have 4 different screens showing it tonight between 12:01 and 12:15 so if one ends up getting completely full Im sure they can shift people around a little to make room, I cant imagine they will sell out all 4 showings of it.Comment

Re: The Dark Knight Discussion
Get there by 10:15 or so. I bet people will be there already, but at least it won't be fully full. Maybe it will.
Either way, it's better to be safe than sorry.Comment

Re: The Dark Knight Discussion
Well I hope the movie lives up to the hype for you guys here, Im off to stand in line for 2.5 hours, apparently there are already 100+ people in line at my theater for a 12:01 showing, some of which are dressed up as the Joker I was informed. Theater seats 442 so hopefully I wont have a problem but this is going to be one long *** wait thats for sure. Cant wait to see it and hear what you guys think as well.Comment

Re: The Dark Knight Discussion
Nothing is more annoying than getting bad seats. Plus there's four of us so I wanna make sure we can all sit by each other. I think an hour of waiting isn't that crazy.
Thing that sucks is, all my damn coworkers kept bragging all night tonight about how they're seeing it tonight at midnight. Then I get texts from other friends who say they found tickets that just got freed up at another theatre.. and then my cousin texts me that they're all in line already.. I feel so left out LOL.Comment
