No joker and I would've fallen asleep. Overrated, but still a decent enough action movie. The standards for movies are so low that anything better than garbage is considered amazing. Our pop-culture sucks.

I've wondered that, too, but I guess there's some obvious reason as to why they couldn't do that because I haven't really seen it brought up before.

Because they knew where he was during some of the murders. Either on top of the building, with Mike Engel, or somewhere else. Remember that Harvey killed the cop right after the TV announcement. The Joker couldn't have been there at that time.

the media wouldnt have gone for that since they knew where the Joker was during those killings. The media controls a lot of Gotham (something similar to our country these days, very unfortunately)

finally saw this with my wife the other day...very good movie. it's intense, and though heath ledger gets a lot of attention, christian bale and aaron eckhart are solid as well. a must see...

Still, The Joker didn't put Harvey and Rachel in their bomb sites, his corrupted gang did, but he still got blamed for those murders. What makes this any different?

I went and saw this with a friend the other day. I thought it was a good movie,not what everyone is making it out to be,but still worth the money. My friend said he was underwhelmed and some people in the place looked at us like we said we'd just nuked New York City.

I agree. I thought it was just an OK movie (liked the first 1.5 hours and then it fell off for me). Heath Ledger was great though. Some of the stuff that happened in the last hour annoyed me but I won't get into it. I enjoyed Iron Man and the Hulk more.

I thought Iron Man started out promising despite the long time spent in the caves at the beginning, but the climax was very anti-climatic for me.

I agree. Everyone saying things like "no doubt the greatest movie ever, period" is blowing it all out of proportion and needs to take a step back, IMO.

I thought it was great, don't get me wrong. I'd probably rate it a 9 or so. It just wasn't the mind blowing, head and shoulders above every other movie ever masterpiece that people here are making it out to be.
