Took my daughter to see it today and wow, to me it waseasily the worse Pixar Movie. Hardly any funny parts, pretty boring...the best part was at the end when their all at the drive in. First time I didnt like a Pixar movie. I was very disapointed . My daughter didnt care for it either.

I'm probably gonna see this next weekend...my parents watched it last thursday (somehow got early sneak preview tix), and they thought it was great. I think i'll go see it tomorrow. It sounds like a more serious animation movie and since it's long (at 2 hrs) it should be able to tell a great story.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Well I got back from seeing it a second time, this time with my wife and son (again!) and have to revise my list.
1. The Incredibles
2. Finding Nemo (the whole father/son dynamic gets me every time)
3. Cars
4. Monsters, Inc.
5. Toy Story 2
6. A Bugs Life
7. Toy Story
The heart of 'Cars' is just undeniable. While I'm not a NASCAR or race fan (never have been), don't live in the South (and such, lines like "I'm happier than a tornado in a trailer park" go right over my head), and I'm neither a car junkie or redneck...the movie is just amazing! Pixar just has that knack for storytelling, even if the ending is predictable, coupled with the slight delay in getting to the point where the story "grabs" you.
I have to applaud Pixar again for proving why they are the best when it comes to animation. The number of CG clones that are in the pipeline is staggering, and it's a shame that none (save the "Shrek" series or the upcoming Aardman flick) can even hope to compare. The visuals are amazing by the way, even if it's old hat to say. The fact that at times it stops looking CG and starts looking like toys or real life objects is astounding, not to mention the instances of landscape photo-realism.I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be. - Douglas Adams

I was just talking about the movie with my cousin today. He just saw it and I saw it on Friday. Basically, we decided that the plot of the movie is relatively cliche, but the way they tell the story is simply outstanding. I really loved this movie.Comment
