I still have alot of contacts within the PF community and I've never gotten any news about it. There was a rumour like 2 or so years ago that he was dead because he left the city he was leaving so people thought he died but it was proven false, he even was interviewed with his sister (with who he had moved in with because of his declining health) to prove he wasn't dead. He was however, as I said, overweight and struggling with diabetes and other related issues.

Yes, I looked it up, and apparently he is alive and kicking, seriously confused as Pink Floyd made him disappear, I, honest to god thought he OD'd. Wow!

Syd's still alive. The news would be everywhere If he died.

As for the singing: I love both Gilmour and Waters' voices. They each have their distinct style. Gilmour is more fluid than Waters. But Waters is all about emotion. His voice in Animals was perfect. I cant get enough of that album.

Syd is still alive. I don't see why people thing his is a big deal. His fall is what brought Gilmour in. Who knows how well PF would of done without Gilmour ever joining. First album was awful anyways IMO.

What DVD is it that shows "The Wall" concert they only did in a few cities. The one with all the stage props and show. Heard it was pretty elaborate.

The only DVD of the wall i know of is Roger Waters' Wall in Berlin. There was a making of the wall documentary, but I've only seen that on TV.

Theres also a Earl's Court show back when it was Floyd, but I heard the lighting is very bad.

Roger Waters and Friends, Live at Berlin is pretty cool.

Its alright, I guess. I'm not too fond of Thomas Dolby jaming out to the keytar during another brick in the wall, with Cindy Lauper singing. Ugh, not to mention Sinead O'Connor!

not a fan of a lot of the guests but they did a good job, pretty much only paid attention to roger waters and the guitar player. Watch "In the Flesh"!!!
