I don't like the look of the black costume. I don't mind when movies take some creative liberties with the looks of a character, but I don't see why they would go with that over something that looks more like the source material.

This will likely be the last Spider-Man movie to feature this cast. If it makes money like the others, then there probably will be a fourth at some point.

I love the look of the black costume. The only thing that's really different is the reaised "web".

I agree, but I would say "2" already went to on-point. I don't know how you could capture a comic book look and feel anything more than what they did in 2, especially the scenes of SM and DocOck plummeting from the skyscrapers, twisting and twirling around still trying to pummel each other.....right off the pages!

I agree. I love the black costume. Really, the only thing different is the spider symbol isn't as big as in the comics, which is fine with me.

Holy crap that looks amazing.

And it does look like there'll be a 4th movie...with Venom as the main bad guy, because this one seems to be all about Parker fighting off the darkness, while fighting Sandman and the Hobgoblin.

it's getting good reviews. the theatre near my house is having one of the 10:00 showings tonite. I'll probably wait til tomorrow or towards the weekend.
