I just recently saw Spiderman 3. What the heck were they thinking? Honestly, why did they mess up this potential blockbuster with all the garbage they put into this movie? It was almost like they were lazy on purpose. It had so much potential. My wife was pissed that she stayed up to watch it with me. Horrible garbage. She even said that a new law should be passed. When a company messes up a franchise like this, they shouldn't be allowed to use the name so that the franchise can have a proper sequel or what have you. After watching this, I can honestly say that I agree with that. I could definitely make a better movie. Give me a few of those Spidey comic books and give me a year.......

I agree with everybody else that this Spider-Man was a disappointment beyond everyone's imagination, including my own. I watch the trailer over and over, and I still get goosebumps with what could have potentially been of the greatest blockbuster movies ever. But I can easily look past that and say that this still was a Spider-Man movie, and find greatness in it as well.

I don't know... something about the atmosphere with the guy in red and blue (and sometimes black) makes me love it regardless. I certainly understand why people don't like it, but I hope ya'll understand why I do like it.

But I can easily look past that and say that this still was a Spider-Man movie, and find greatness in it as well.

If you're not a big Spider-man/Venom fan I can see where the movie was cool.

Being a big Spider-man/Venom fan this movie sucked big time. I especially can't get past how bad they messed up Venom. They never even referred to him to as Venom. Whats worse is when Spider-man called him Eddie he just went with it. This is where the character goes in the "We" talk since the symbiote and Eddie are together.

Put that in with the bad dancing scenes and so many other things, it killed it for me.

I hope they do with the Spider-man series what they did with Batman. New director please! And a new cast. Kristen Dunst is no MJ. I've been saying this since the first movie. MJ is a busty girl, Dunst is nothing of the sort.

I honestly hated what they did with Venom, I agree. Or the final battle thingy in general, for that matter.

But every movie has had cheese in it; this one is no different.

One of the things that kind of made me wonder what they were thinking was when he would put the costume in the trunk and have a choice between it and the red suit. I thought the symbiote was suppose to be connected to him? Doesn't make any sense how he could just toss it off like a fresh set of draws.

Another thing that pissed me off was the fact that Toby was so goofy trying to be "sexy" or "cool" or whatever. Clearly, what ever happened to the regular drama stuff where doing regular things would cause the movie to look good? Why did he have to start playing the piano? Why did he have to start breaking out in dance? What the heck was all that garbage about? I mean, there was no serious type of connection between Dunst & Toby the whole movie it seemed. The clothes could use a light life, the acting could use an upgrade, and Venom was incredibly small. He needed more mass in that costume. So many things in that movie that just was horrible. I'm trying to debate whether this movie or Rush Hour 3 was the biggest waste in my life.......

I honestly don't know what the hell that was about either. I'm honestly trying to figure out what this next Spiderman movie is looking like when it comes out. I hope they have a pretty solid script to bring it back to glory.

I am a big Spider-Man/Venom fan and I didn't think this movie sucked. I'm actually more of a Venom fan than Spidey (I have close to 100 Venom comics back at my parent's house and probably 20 different action figures of the guy) and I never thought I'd see the character on the big screen. Raimi was more than open about his lack of interest in the character and it was well-documented that this cast would likely only be together for a trilogy. And after they passed over Eddie for the second one I didn't think they'd be able to get him into the third.

The biggest issue with the third film was there was too much going on. Because it is likely the last Spider-Man movie for this cast and crew they wanted to get everything left undone into it. They had to finish off the Goblin angle, MaGuire and Raimi both wanted the Sandman, and the Sony/Marvel camp wanted to do Venom. Instead of settling on one, they tried to do all three and as a result all three characters sufferred. The Sandman was under-utilized, Venom was a bit character, and they had to use an amnesia angle just to create some time for the other plots.

Now I'll give credit where credit is due, the cliche'ed amnesia thing actually worked, the rest did not. As a big Venom fan, I must say he deserved a movie for himself where he was the main conflict. In reality, Brock needed to be introduced a movie earlier along with the black costume that would have in turn set-up for a sequel involving Venom.

It's over and done with though and I'm hesitant to say the movie was good but I won't say it was bad. I'm hopeful this isn't the last we'll see of Venom on the big screen and I actually wouldn't mind it if Topher Grace was playing him. I didn't think he could pull the role off but he actually did a good job with what was given to him. I'm a little burned out on Raimi though, and Kirsten Dunst is terrible. I'm torn on Toby as on one hand I recognize him as Peter Parker, but on the other hand I'd welcome a change. It's going to be awhile before another film is made though (and rest assured, one will be made as the franchise is too profitable to abandon) so we'll have to wait awhile before we find out how everything will play out.

Well, for all intents and purposes, he was just trying to get his daughter healthy. I'm sure that, if he decides to pull that off again, Parker will be all over his *earmuffs*. I think Marko learned Uncle Ben's motto: "With great power comes great responsibility."
